Louis plopped onto the hotel bed with a sigh, making Harry shake his head and smile at him.

"Tired, boo?" Harry asked, slipping his jacket from his shoulders and draping it across the back of the chair tucked into the desk.

"Mhmm," he answered, his eyes closed. "I'm exhausted. I guess that photoshoot really wore me out," he said as he snuggled into the blankets.

"Go ahead and get some sleep then. It's been a long morning," Harry said, leaning down and kissing Louis's cheek. Louis smiled before quickly drifting off to sleep.

Louis awoke a couple of hours later, immediately noticing the pain in his throat. He sat up slowly and scooted back to rest up against the headboard. Harry, who was sitting on the other side of the bed reading, placed his book onto his beside table and turned to face Louis.

"Have a nice nap?" he asked cheerily, glad that Louis was now awake.

Louis nodded. "Yeah," he answered, his voice cracking.

"You alright, Lou?" Harry asked with a frown. "You sound terrible."

Louis raised an eyebrow at him before shaking his head. "Actually, no. My throat hurts really bad. I was fine before my nap, though. . .except I have had a headache all day. Still do," he said, wincing. "Ugh, my throat kills, and my head's not helping anything," he said, his voice sounding strained.

"Oh, my poor baby's caught himself a cold," Harry cooed, pulling Louis onto his lap and cradling him close.

"No, you're my baby, Haz," Louis said, his words muffled as he pressed his face into Harry's chest, not seeming to mind being the one on the receiving end of the cuddles despite what he had just said. Harry chuckled as he sweetly ran his fingers through Louis's hair, causing him to hum in pleasure.

"Hungry, babe? You kind of slept through lunch," Harry questioned, kissing the top of Louis's head. Instead of answering, Louis just shrugged. He felt hungry but knew he would find it difficult to eat with his throat hurting him so much. Harry reached over and grabbed the hotel phone, ordering some soup and tea from room service. "You need to try to eat something, love," Harry explained, seeming to understand what Louis was thinking.

It wasn't long before there was a knock on the door followed by someone shouting "room service." Louis sighed and reluctantly slid off of Harry's lap. Harry got up and answered the door, taking the tray of food and returning to the bed. He placed the tray on Louis's lap.

Louis stared at the soup for a moment, his mouth watering at the sight, but at the same time, he wasn't looking forward to trying to eat it. He picked up his spoon and took a bite, wincing as he swallowed it down.

"I can't eat this," Louis said, placing the spoon back in the bowl and shoving the tray off his lap and onto the bed. "My throat hurts too much. It even feels swollen, making it really hard to swallow anything," he said, touching his neck and feeling the swollen glands there. They were tender to the touch and he winced as he pulled his hand away.

"Oh, come on, Lou. Don't be so dramatic. It's just a cold. At least drink your tea," Harry said, handing him the steaming cup. Louis eyed it and shook his head, not wanting to experience the pain again. "Open up, babe," Harry said, staring at him expectantly. Sighing, Louis took the cup in his little hands and took a few small sips. It was all he could handle, and it seemed to satisfy Harry enough, since he didn't protest when Louis set the cup back on the tray. Harry took the tray and placed it on his bedside table to get it out of the way.
