Hey! Sorry It's been forever since I've updated. I really wanted to get another one-shot up for you guys, but I seriously had to force myself to actually write it. I struggled to get in the right mood to write, even though I wanted to post again...anyway, enough of that!
I seriously thought this would only be, like, less that 2,000 words, but once I got to writing, it ended up much longer. Sorry. I don't know if you guys like these so long or not, but I couldn't help it. :)
I stumbled on this illness while browsing online, and I thought it seemed scary and completely different from the typical sickfic, so I hope you guys like it!

"Look out, Payno!" Louis said as he kicked the ball high into the air. It sailed over Liam's head and into the area they'd designated as one of the goals.
"Yes!" Niall said, coming over to give Louis a high five.
The boys had a few days off and were spending their afternoon playing some footie in a park near their hotel.
Harry retrieved the ball and kicked it back to the others, the game resuming once again.
They kept playing, having fun and not being too competitive. They enjoyed having some free time and taking in the fresh air and sunshine.
Liam stole the ball from Niall and took aim at the goal, sending the ball shooting across the field. Louis went to block it, but it flew past him and through the goal. Since they had no net, the ball kept rolling straight past the edge of the field and into some wooded area that bordered the park.
Liam started jogging over to get it, but Louis waved him off.
"I'm closer, Payno. I'll get it. Nice shot, by the way," he said, shooting him a smile before heading through the trees to find the football.
It took several minutes for him to emerge with the ball tucked under his arm. He found the other boys sitting on the field taking a water break. Louis joined them, sitting beside Harry and setting the ball down. He got a water bottle and took a drink.
"You were gone a while, Lou," Harry said, reaching out a hand toward him, plucking a couple leaves from his hair. Louis just chuckled.
"Yeah, took a while to find the ball. It had buried itself pretty good in the undergrowth," Louis answered, setting his bottle down and scooting closer to Harry.
After a while, they all got up and decided to go back to the hotel for lunch and to relax with some movies. The rest of the week was spent much the same as they enjoyed their time off.
Eventually, though, they had to get back to work and they all boarded the bus once again. Since it was late, they all climbed into their bunks and went to sleep.
The next morning, Louis was awoken by the smell of bacon frying and he sat up and swung his legs over the edge of the bed. He slid down 'til his feet touched the floor, and he immediately felt a bit unsteady on his feet. Brushing it off, he made his way over to the kitchen area of the bus, swaying a bit as he did so.
"Morning, boo!" Harry said, standing at the stove as he noticed Louis approaching. "I was just about to go wake you. Would you like some—you okay, Lou?" he said in concern, noticing Louis sway as he entered the kitchen.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm okay," he said, taking a seat at the table with the other boys and rubbing his eyes. "I don't think I've fully woken up yet. I'll be alright."
Harry nodded at him a bit skeptically and handed him a plate of food before making himself a plate as well and sitting beside Louis to eat.
The boys chatted as they ate, excited about the concert they had the following day. As much as they enjoyed their days off, they'd become a bit restless, ready to have something to do again.
