"I don't even know what to do with my life now, since it is Spring Break." I muttered out of my mouth as I sighed afterwards.
"Oh yeah, who were you with when you went to the bar?" Jade asked. "Um, I'd rather not tell." I chuckled.
"Wait.. did you go with Co-- Oh my God, Kat!" She yelled as she got up on her feet from the sofa.
"Why the fuck would you go with Co-- do I sound like a mom right now?" She asked as I nodded in response. "Fucking hell."
"Anyway, why would you go out with Connor?" She argued as I answered, "I thought he'd never leave me!"
"Pff, that's what you thought, princess."
"Ugh, stop calling me princess!" I yelled as I stood up and went to my bedroom. I collapses on the bed with my face on the mattress.
"Hey, I'm just saying. Don't expect him to be with you always. He will leave you for somebody else at one point. Damn, that was deep." Jade said as she snickered. I rolled and sat up on my bed.
"Should I call Connor?" I asked as I pulled my phone out. "Fine. Let me do the talking." Oh no. She would flip the fuck out if she talked to Connor.
She dialed his number and it rang. Bzz.. Bzz.. Bzzz. "Hello?" She put it in loud speaker. "Hey Connor, it's Jade."
And there, I started to cover my ears. "Why the fuck would you leave Kath in a fucking bar!?" She yelled at the phone, so cupping my ears wouldn't help at all. "I-I didn't see her after she drank 3 shots of tequila! I shouted her name but I couldn't see her." He answered as I removed my hands from my ears.
"You heard that, Kath?" She asked as she looked at me. I shrugged since I didn't know what else to respond. "Jade, fucking give me the phone." I said as I stood up and snatched my phone from her hands.
"Hey Con, it's fine. I--It's just Jade's over protective and all when it comes to me. She's kinda like my second mom." I answered as Jade looked at me with this Jesus-Christ-Stop-Being-So-Flirtatious-Look. Trust me, I know all her looks.
"Oh, it's fine. I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday.. I-I just lost you and-- and--"
"Hey.. It's fine." But in reality, it wasn't. I just had sex with my ex boyfriend who had sex with almost all the girls in my classroom. I hate my life right now. Ugh.
"You sure? You sound like you're regretting something." He reassured as I sat down and laid on the bed. "I'm fine."
"That's what all girls say. Just tell me."
"Ugh, fine. I am not fine, why? Because I had sex with my ex who had his semen inside other girls'. Or at least trapped in a piece of rubber. And-urgh, I can't even think straight." I said as Jade sat down on my bed and laid down on her back as well.
"Hey, you wanna hang at the park? I'll promise I won't leave you." He asked. I looked at Jade for her approval. And fortunately, she nodded. "Promise me you wont leave me?" I asked.
"Mhm."
"Alright, I'll see you later at... 4?"
"Sure!" He exclaimed as I chuckled. "See you then."
I ended the call and now, I had to decide what to wear. I just guessed and took out my white muscle tee, ripped denim jeans and my white Converse. "Jade, what about this one?" I asked as I showed it to her.
"Bitch, why are you asking me? Your style is always on point, Jesus Christ." She answered as we snickered at the end. "Fine, I'll wear these." I said as Jade stood up and left the room. She's my best friend, she knows the drill.
