Ah, finally. The day before my graduation. Eversince I was 16, my mom and sister would visit me every summer. And I suspect that they will visit me, since it is my graduation.
I jumped out of bed and tied my hair into a messy ponytail and let some bits and pieces fall in front. I literally had nothing to do so I called Connor. "Hey, what's up?" He spoke through the speaker of my phone.
"Nothing, I was just bored. And I literally have nothing to do."
"Want me to come over?"
"Sure. Teach me how to play the piano, by the way." He chuckled and ended the call. I looked at the mirror and my outfit was sort of appropriate.. A white crop top and some shorts.
The doorbell rang and so I opened the door. It wasn't Connor, it was my mom and my little sister, Lily. "Hi dear!" Mom exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me for a hug. "Hi." I said so enthustiastically--note the sarcasm.
"Kat! Here, I bought you something you absolutely loved when you were a kid." She said as she brought out a box of cookies--the one I loved eversince I was little. "Oh my God. I love these!" I exclaim as I open the lid and grabbed out a cookie. "Lils, you can get too if you want."
She grabbed out a cookie and started chomping on it. "Oh yeah, mom. My um-how do you say this."
"Your boyfriend is coming over?" She asked as I exhaled deeply. "Y-yes." I stammer and she laughed.
"Oh, my baby's all grown up." She laughed as I rolled my eyes.
I heard the doorbell and ran outside to open the door to Connor. "Hey. Erm, don't mind my mom and my sister, they're just--"
"It's fine." Connor laughed as we entered the living room. "Oh wow," Mom muttered as she placed a towel on the kitchen. "Hello, Mrs. Bridgestone." Connor placed his hand out for my mom to shake. "And you must be?"
"Your daughter's future husband, Connor Collins." I nudged his arm as we both laughed. "Future husband?"
"But I am currently your daughter's boyfriend." He laughed as my mom shook hands with him. "Glad to meet you, Mr. Collins."
I nudged him again and gestured him to follow me to the piano. He followed me to my white baby grand piano, it's white because I don't know why. I opened it--cobwebs and dust came flying out--and the keys were almost black.
"God. We need to do some cleaning." He said as I grabbed one of those dusters and dusted the corners of the piano. "Get some tissue and wet wipes." I said as Connor left the room.
He came back with a pack of wipes and he grabbed out one. He swiped the piano keus to reveal a pure white key.
"That hasn't seen light in years." We both laughed as we continued cleaning the piano.

We finished cleaning the piano and it was so clean. As he finished cleaning the last key, he pressed it by accident. "Holy shit. That's such a nice sound." He muttered as I chuckled.
We both sat down on the seat and placed his hands on the piano. He started playing the chords of Wild by Troye Sivan.
"Trying hard not to fall,"
"On the way home, you were trying to weigh me down." I started singing along.
"Kissing up on fences and up on walls on the way home I guess it's all working out now."
"'Cause it's still too long 'til the weekend too long 'til I come in your hands. Too long since I've been a fool."
"Leave this blue neighborhood, never knew loving would hurt this good. And it drives me wild."
