Graduation, finally. The day wherein all graduating high school students will separate to go to college. But luckily for me, I got into one of the highest colleges with Jade and Connor and his friends-surprisingly.

"Kat! Let's go!" My mom exclaimed as I placed on my setting spray. I grabbed my phone and my sash and rushed to the car. "Lily, you got the camera?" My mom asked as I entered the car.

"Yep," She mumbled softly as mom started the engine and drove to school

I gave my phone to my mom and rushed out the car to get to the line up. "Kat!" Jade yelled from behind.

"Damn, look at that makeup though." She laughed, making me roll my eyes. "Where's Con?" I asked as I parted my curled hair to the side.

"Oh, he's with his friends. Right over there." I turned around and saw his friends fixing Connor's suit. As he turned around he started walking towards me; my heart started pounding faster and faster.

"Hey." He said as he pecked me on the forehead. "You look amazing." I stammered as he chuckled.

"Thank you. You look beautiful as he-"

"Alright students! Please go backstage as we will start the program!" The announcer said as we all walked backstage. As I was walking, I saw Stacey and Jake both holding her stomach-it was just hilarious.

As we walked backstage, Connor and I were placed as the first people to come out from backstage and we're supposed to hook our arms, so nothing really extraordinary for the both of us.

The music started fading in and we placed our sashes on our forearm and the announcer started speaking.

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Today is the graduation of Batch 2018...."

I didn't listen to them anymore, kind of was useless. "Let us now start introducing our 376 graduates." The music started to be louder, Connor nodded and we both entered the stage. Shit there's so much cameras. After three seconds, we hooked our arms with each others and walked down the steps.

We both sat down beside each other and just behaved. I sighed loudly and Connor looked at me. "I know, it's really boring." He whispered, making me chuckle.

After they introduced everybody, the announcer spoke. "Let us all recognize the top ten. On tenth honor, Uzo Wakishi."

"Ninth honor, Trisha Lim"

"Eighth honor, Connor Collins." He stood on stage as he smiled teethless. And he did this secret little wink that was only visible to me. He started walking to the person who gives out their medal and certificate.

"Second honor with a silver medal and high honors, Katherine Bridgestone." Well, here goes nothing. My mom and I walked up the stage. She grabbed the medal from the emcee's hands and placed it on me. She removed my hair from the inside of the strap and gave me the certificate.

"Thank you, ladies and gentlemen for being a part of the Goldelian family." Finally! It's done. All that's left is the after party. As we were leaving the venue, Connor slid his hand on my waist and pulled me towards him for a quick kiss.

"Congrats boo." He said as he smiled. "Congrats to you too, Collins." I said as I tugged on his tie and slowly walked away. "Damn, girl. You are savage as fuck." Jade said as I laughed.

"I just love him."

Jade turned around and asked me immediately, "But does he love you?" I turned my head around and saw a fine ass woman--about a year younger than me-- peck on Connor's cheek. "That's just his sister, c'mon." I said as I rolled my eyes.
