We started running towards the Ferris Wheel, and we saw a long ass line. "Hey, can we go there later? The line's quite long." I said as I tugged on Connor's blue hoodie.
"Swing Carousel!" I yelled as pointed and grabbed Connor's hand. We both r6an and got to the line immediately.
We got on immediately since the line was so short. They strapped us in and there we went, flying around the air. We went around in circles, making me dizzy. Well, almost.
"Oh my God!!" Connor started yelling as I laughed so hard. I turn my head to look at him and you could see him dying internally.
Well, after about 5 minutes of spinning around, we gradually stopped. I turned my head around to see if Connor was still alive. Fortunately, he is. We were strapped off and we looked around.
"Hey, you wanna try one of those things?" He asked as he pointed at a stall where you had to knock down the cans to get a huge teddy bear.
"Sure!" I exclaimed as we started walking towards it. "I'll take one game." He said as he gave the gamemaster some coins.
The gamemaster grabbed three ball and gave it to Connor. First was a strike. Second, one was left standing up. And third, strike. "Congrats. You won a huge teddy bear." The gamemaster said so 'enthustiastically' as he gave Connor a white teddy bear with a bow.
He gave it to me and I froze. "H-hey, you don't have to give it to me, y'know?" I said, keeping my hands at the back. "I know, but it's a gift." He said, offering it to me.
I grabbed it and hugged it. There was something off with this. The teddy bear he just gave me is one of the most adorable and cuddliest things I ever hugged. Was it because it had something else inside? Or was it because it came from Connor?
He smiled at me as I hugged the bear. It was really adorable, and now we had to walk around with a white teddy bear. We went to a food stall and bought some food, go figure.
We sat down on a bench and started talking. "Thank you so much for the teddy bear." I said with one arm wrapped around the bear. "Hey, no problem." He said, taking a bite of the cotton candy.
I looked around the area and saw that the ferris wheel's line was really short. I tapped Connor on the arm and stood up. "Can we go to the ferris wheel now?" I asked, biting the last piece of cotton candy.
He looked at the line, then at me and smiled. "I guess we could." He chuckled as he stood up.
We walked towards the ride and immediately got in because the line was apparently that short. They strapped us in and we went up.
I haven't told anybody this yet but, I had feelings for Connor, but I wasn't sure. "Hey, you wanna confess things eversince the first day of school?" Connor asked as he looked at me."
"Yeah, sure. Umm you go first."
"The first person who I ever had a crush on this school year was probably Stacey." He said as I tutted. "No shit, Sherlock." We both laughed at the thought that almost all boys had a crush on Stacey.
"Do you know that moment when you brought me to the clinic?" I asked as he nodded. "And you asked me why I fainted?"
Well, this is the second guy who knew I ever had anxiety. "Well.. I--Oh God, I can't say it straight." I chuckled. "I.. have anxiety."
"Wait, why didn't you tell me before?"
"Because.. y'know. When people say they have a mental disorder, people usually assume it with ADHD or something like that. And I didn't want to tell you because.." Because I wanted you to like me. "Because...?"
"Nothing. Anyway... your turn."
"I never had a girlfriend. Ever." He said as I laughed. "Are you kidding me? Out of all the people, I expect you to have a girlfriend." Because you are cute as fuck. "Well, I don't have a girlfriend yet."
"Anyway. Your turn."
"Erm, I actually have a crush." I said as his eyes almost bulged out of his face. "Who?"
"Guess."
"Is it.. Marki?" He asked as I shook my head. "Marki's my best friend, you twat." He laughed. "Hmm, what about Nick?"
"He has a girlfriend."
"Alright, I'll say it." I said. Well, here goes nothing.
"My crush is-- actually you should say yours first." Connor tutted and said, "Fine. You guess the letter. 5 guesses."
"Alright. Hmm, S."
"Nope. Would you really think that I still like Stacey?" He asked as I nodded and laughed.
"Erm.. K." As I said it, he had the Damn it-face on. "Okay. Guess who it is, around the whole batch."
"Hmm, Kyla, Kylie, Kelly, Katy, me, Kirsten, Kris."
"The fifth one."
And there I froze. "I-Its you." He chuckled as I looked deeply into his eyes. And just staring at it made me notice that his pupils dilate.
"Oh wow. I never knew. Maybe it was because I was thinking too much if you liked me too."
"Kath, so you're saying.."
I nodded.
"My crush is the lovely guy who I'm talking to and spending my time with." I said as I smiled at him. I felt his hand rise up near my face and bam... he pinched my cheeks. "Connor!" I said as he laughed.
"You're so cute."
"No I'm not." I laughed as I hugged the bear even tighter.
"I'm so happy I met you." I said.
"Me too."
We were unstrapped from the ride and walked around the carnival.
"Hey guys." I heard someone say behind Connor and I.
I turned my head around, and was this a coincidence.
