Chapter Nineteen

Binuksan na niya ang makina ng kotse saka kame umalis. Ang gaganda ng mga kuha ng mga pictures. Now I know kung kanino nagmana si Clark sa kahiligan niya sa surprises. Talagang hindi namin inexpect to.

Imagine? May compilation ang proposal niya! Knowing that her mom is away from us.

But then I realize onething while he is proposing, he did that same gimik when he asked me to be his girlfriend. I smiled sweetly as I looked at him.

"Super smile ka naman dyan, baka mamaya mapunit yang labi mo" Pang asar niya.

These man really know how to irritate me huh? But I like it that way.

"Bakit ba? Masaya lang ako" Matawa tawang sabi ko. What's wrong with smiling?

"I'm just surprised because of what your mom did"

Hindi ko lang talaga alam kung paano magre-react dahil dito. Basta isa lang ang alam ko, masaya ako. Happy that i'm with these man and happy that he'll be with me maybe not forever but atleast a lifetime.

"Atleast she knows that i'm yours exclusively, and I will marry you as soon as we graduated, but I can't promise not to make you cry, I hope you know what I mean"

He then chuckled. I know what he's trying to say, but instead of answering him, I just gave him my sweetest smile.

I'm still hoping that we end up together cuz I don't know how to last a day without him. He taught me how be strong, not to keep even a little grudge over my family and how to be truely happy.

"Baka matunaw ako nyan ah" Nakatawang sambit niya. Pambihira ganun na ba ako katagal nakatitig sakanya?

"Ang kapal ah" I pouted. He just smirked.

"Stop pouting Annya, you're distacting me" Parang tanga lang ah, what's wrong with pouting?

"Fine! Just continue driving malapit na tayo tss" Pataray na sabi ko. We're almost there, My heart is jumping because I will finally see my mom again after a month. She've been very busy that's why she don't have time to visit me or even a little chit chats in a phone with me.

"Is that her condo?" Turo niya sa AA Tower building na malapit lang saming sasakyan.

"Yes, it is, it's on her text, AA Tower" Pinaandar niya ang kotse at pinarada ito sa visitors parking area. At saka bumaba siya at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto. Dumiretso kami sa lobby ng condo sa information desk.

"Good Evening Ma'am, Welcome to AA Tower, How may I help you?" Bati ng babae sa desk na pinuntahan namin. Pero pansin ko lang ah? Hindi siya sakin nakatingin kundi sa katabi ko! What a flirt! But I can't blame them, Clark is too handsome to resist.

"I just want to visit my mom, Her name is Cassandra Valderama" She looks at me with a shock face, what the! What the hell is wrong with this girl!?

"Sorry Ma'am, what's your name?" Aligagang tanong nito habang nagtitipa ng numero sa telepono. What's happening to her?

"Annya Alexa Valderama po" She stood up and bow her head like i'm a boss. What the!?

"Ma'am AA, good evening po, here's the card of your mom's unit, it is the whole 35th floor"

Natataranta niyang inabot saakin ang isang magnetic card kaya tinanggap ko ito. Pero nagtataka ako, does she called me AA? Meaning to say these tower named next to me? My family own this tower? How come? Why mom didn't tell us or it's just me don't know anything?

I accepted the card and smiled at her, I looked at Clark behind me, he just smiled and held my hand.

"Are you okay?" Medyo nalilitong tanong niya.

"Yeah, i'm just... forget it. Come on?" Tumango siya at naglakad kami patungong elevator, halos lahat ng nadadaanan namin ay binabati ako. I look at the card of my mom's unit, there is a small Name at the bottom of the AA initials. It's Annya Alexa Tower.

"So.. you own these condo huh?" May pangnunuya sa tono ng pananalita ni Clark.

"Maybe? I don't know, either"

"Maybe these are the reason why your mom is too busy, building your so called self titled condo" He then chuckled. I just gave him a tired look but I smile because he's smirking at me.

"What's with the smirk Mr. Monterial?" Iritado ngunit nakangiting sabi ko.

"Nothing" Magsasalita pa sana ako kaso tumunog na ang elevator bilang hudyat na nasa tamang floor na kami. Lumabas kami at dun nakita ko agad ang pintuan ng unit ni Mommy may nakalagay kasing Valderama Family.

"Is she there? I mean did you tell her that you are going to visit her tonight?"

"I didn't, I want to surprise her, you know I missed her" I smiled and swiped the card. At nang nagbukas ito ay pumasok na kami. Pagpasok palang ng sala ay kita ko na ang isang giant frame ng Family namin.

Her unit shows elegance and power because of it's black and white paint. I'm not shocked though, knowing that she really loves Black and White.

"Your mom's unit is very beautiful....no...amazing rather" Sabi niya habang iginagala ang mata sa mga furnitures.

"You're right, She really loves black and white....wait...Look at these" Hinila ko siya patungo sa mini table katabi ng couch. May isang frame doon noong bata pa ako. I'm wearing my sweetest smile there. My mom is carying me while she's playing with my cheecks.

"You were close to her wayback then huh?" I nooded.

"Kaso lang naging busy siya simula nang lumaki ang kumpanya ni Daddy. Ipinamana kase ni Lola Mildred sakanya lahat ng ari-arian nila, maybe dad can't handle it on his own that's why mom helped him out"

"How old are you in that picture? You're really gorgeous since you were a kid" He then chuckled.

"Bolero... but i'm just turning 4 when that taken" He nooded.

"Wait... let's see if mom's here" I walked towards her office and knocked on it.

"Mom! Annya's here...mom?"

"Baka wala siya diyan?" Biglang sabi ni Clark.

"Siguro nga" Sinubukan kong pihitin ang door knob pero naka-lock, pumunta nalang kami sa veranda upang magpahangin.

Pagkalabas palang namin ay sumalubong na saamin ang malamig na hangin. Ang ganda dito shems, kita mula dito ang buong syudad. Unlike Tagaytay mas kita ang city lights dito.

"Ang ganda dito no? Now I know why your mom choose to build a tower here at Antipolo" Hinapit niya ang aking baywang at niyakap ako mula sa likod.

"Oo nga eh, maalam talaga si Mommy pagdating sa mga ganitong bagay" Sabi ko sabay sandal ng aking ulo sa kanyang dib-dib.

"You know what? I'm dreaming of having a house here at Antipolo?" Tumingala ako sakanya nang may pagtataka sa mukha.

"Really?" Manghang tanong ko.

"Yeah, I want to build my own family here and I guess I finally found the girl that will fulfill that dream....soon" He smiled and kissed me on my forehead.
