Dan and Phil start gathering all their lights and microphones and all of the fancy filming stuff. While Joe starts to write up some accents to draw out of his beanie on Phil's bed. I swear there has never been a more surreal moment in my life.
"So where are you guys from?" Joe asks.
"Australia" Kyara answers.
"That's cool I went to New Zealand with my friends after school and I've always wanted to go back down there to see more countries" Joe says.
"Can you help me think of some accents? I'm struggling to come up with more than 4" Joe says meaning both of us but looking at Kyara for help. Looks like there's some connection forming, I clap ecstatically in my head.
"Have you got the Netherlands" Kyara suggests.
"No, good suggestion" Joe says.
"Yeah I was born there and I kinda originate form there" Kyara says.
"So do you speak the language?" Joe asks.
"Kut kind" I say under my breath both Joe and Kyara turning to me.
"Nee" Kyara says lifting an eyebrow at me.
"Je houdt van hem. Hij is erg aantrekkelijk" I say wriggling my eyebrows to Kyara.
"Nu ophouden" Kyara says.
"Hij weet niet wat we zeggen" I shrug.
Joe stares at us both with amazement.
"I'm guessing you both know the language" Joe says.
"You pick up a few words when her family speaks Dutch all the time" I say.
Dan and Phil look as if they're about ready so we get out of the shot and sit behind camera on the floor as Phil turns the light on and Dan plugs in the microphone. They all sit on the bed after the camera is turned on making sure they are all in shot.
"Can you make sure were all in shot" Dan asks.
"Sure" I say getting up adjusting the camera to perfectly frame the boys.
"All good" I say giving a thumbs up.
They begin the intro and start to pick out all different accents out and I must admit it is hilarious watching them all struggle except for Joe who is really actually good at it. As it comes to Joe he enthusiastically puts his hand in the beanie and gives it a good tousle. He picks out his new accent smiling at what he got, showing no one.
"Er kut kind?" Joe says trying to pronounce it as I had. Kyara and I both gasp at the same time and then laugh.
"Don't say that. Don't say that. You have to cut that out" Kyara says through the laughter.
"What did I just say" Joe says confused, Dan and Phil looking even more confused.
"You literally said cunt child" I say laughing even harder. Joe gasps
"Oh my gosh. I'm sorry" he says to the camera. Dan and Phil start rolling over with laughter at his innocent attempt of another language.
"Australian" Phil says confused at how we know what Joe had said.
"No, Australia speaks English" Dan laughs. Both Dan and Phil furrow their eyebrows.
"Can we have we have a clue" Phil asks.
"You may this country would be windy in some places therefore gets their famous for their windmills" Joe says.
"The Netherlands!" Phil says excitedly.
"One point to the man in the green t-shirt" Joe says handing him over the piece of paper. The video goes on and the beanie ends up with only left accent left in it. Dan put his hand in and grabs it and laughs.
"I am probably going to offend so many people with this" Dan says.
"Uuuhh G'day mate lets go head down for a BBQ" Dan says in one of the worst Australian accents ever.
"Australian" Joe says laughing.
"What even was that?" Phil says laughing.
"Whatever it was it sounded like I had a disease" Dan says. They finished up the video with the outro and turn off the camera. The boys swap cameras and film the videos for Dan and Phil's channel.
"Soo what do you guys want to do for the rest of the day slash night" Kyara says.
"I've got nothing on my schedule" Joe smirks at Kyara.
"Like you would ever have anything on your schedule" Kyara laughs.
"How long ago did you come from Australia?" Joe asks.
"We only sort of moved in a few days ago" Kyara says.
"Sort of?" Joe questions.
"We don't really have all the furniture in yet, like my bed" Kyara says.
"Looks like you won't be getting a lot of sleep then" Joe chuckles.
"I'm used to sleeping around" Kyara says.
"The house I mean" she corrects herself with an awkward laughter.
"Should we take a tour of London since you guys are new to the way of the Queen?" Joe suggests.
"Yeah that sounds good" Kyara says.
"Are you guys up for it?" I ask Dan and Phil.
"Yeah we're up for it" Phil says looking at Dan for conformation. Dan looks at me and smiles.
"Yeah why not" Dan says.
We all grab our coats, keys and wallets and head out the door.
"I'll call a taxi, is it okay if I invite some people, they would love to meet you guys?" Joe asks.
"Yeah sure" I say. We wait outside in the cold for the taxi to arrive.
"They'll meet us at dinner" Joe smiles looking up from his phone.
We all hop in the taxi which looks like a soccer mums van.
"Did you guys know that they are releasing a new Harry Potter?" Kyara asks.
"Who doesn't" I say.
"I know exactly where to start this tour" Joe says. Joe whispers some coordinates to the driver and then we're off. After a short drive we arrive at what looks like a train station. Kyara squeals.
"What?" I say dazed.
"Platform 9 and ¾" Joe says.
We jump out of the car into the fresh cold air of London. The station is quiet and there are only a couple of people walking in and out as it is later at night.
"Perfect time for a tourist stop as there are less people here at night and I saw you were a fan" Joe says with an adorable smile to Kyara.
"Yeah I haven't been here for the tourist attraction side of it in years" Dan says.
"Maybe Hagrid will be waiting for us" Phil says. We walk in and it's not hard to find and there's only one group of people waiting to take a photo.
"I'm so excited" I say jumping up and down with Kyara.
Joe smiles sweetly at us knowing he made the right decision for the first stop of the night. We all start to go up for our photos pulling ridiculous poses and faces taking photos on our phones. Joe invites Kyara to take a picture with him when after he had a few alone. She blushes but goes along with it. Joe got a bit handsy with that trolley and Kyara just saying.
We all head to the store and get some of the professional photo's printed and they kinda looked like big Polaroids which were really cute. Kyara and I went a bit over board with the merchandise. What it's the first time I've been here I'm excited.
