Chapter 11: On The Run
"Right now?" I reply sitting up. "Yes come on, if I can get in and out every morning without getting caught you can too." So she grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door. She looked both ways and saw nobody. Lyn-Z was a smart girl and she always knew what she was doing. "Through here." She said pointing at a narrow hallway. Just then the lights came on for three o'clock check. "Run." She said and she pick locked the main door and we ran. We ran so fast we didn't even think about it. Boy did her hair look amazing in the moonlight. We stopped in Redfern Park to take a breather. We went down the steep rocks and sat under the bridge next to the river. I held her tight and kissed those beautiful lips once again. She crawled on top of me and touched me good. She pulled her shirt and jacket off and I ran my fingers down her smooth white back. "Lyn-Z, you are my everything." I said to her she stared at me with those brown eyes that I got lost in. I kissed her a few more times when we heard police sirens coming closer. She quickly put her shirt and jacket back on and we stood up close to the stone foundation of the bridge. "I'm doing this for you, Gerard." She said wiping her tear stained face. She ran up the hill and I chased after her no matter what the consequences were. "Lyn-Z!" I said pulling her to me. "I don't wanna lose you again." I said as she made the tears in my eyes disappear. "I know." She said looking down. "I just... I just wanted them to not catch you. Maybe them to catch me." We ran together to Frank's house and we slid through his basement window. "Frank, get up." I said shaking his body.
