Author's Note: PLEASE READ!! IMPORTANT!!!!
Hi everyone!!! Sorry for the long (very long) wait. I had a creative block for a little while and then I just never had the time to write. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
I also have a little request. I am looking for a helper with this book. Someone that can help me find gifs and assist where I need. Please message me if you are willing to help. We will be communicating through Wattpad and possibly email. You have to be able to speak English properly and have at least adequate writing skills. Please message me and we can discuss stuff in detail. My updates will be a little varied for some time but I promise it will soon be regular.
Enjoy the chapter!!!

Abhi's POV:
I am freaking out. It has been three weeks since I met Anjali and we had been talking non-stop. It didn't matter what the topic was but we always ended up talking for hours at a time. And today was the day. Today I'm finally going to ask out Anjali because I just can't wait any longer. If I had it my way, I would have asked her out the minute I saw her but she was different. I felt as though if I had asked her out at that moment, she would have said no. I wanted to her to get to know me first so that at least she has some sort of opinion of our time spent together instead of her flat out rejecting me for no reason.
I decided that I would text her to meet me at the cafe where we met for the first time. Wow Abhi, you are such a romantic!! I feel like I should get an award or something just for thinking of that.
To: Anjali
hey, meet me at the cafe at 5pm x
I chucked my phone on my bed after checking the time. It 4:30 now. Only half an hour. This is more nerve wracking than what I actually thought. Maybe I shouldn't have done this. Get your shit together Abhi! You have waited for practically forever for this moment and now you are scared? That is just pathetic. You are going to do this because if you don't, you will actually regret it.
I sighed to myself, grabbing jeans, a shirt and a jacket out of the cupboard then changing into it. By the time I made it down to the cafe, it was already 10 to 5. I ended up spending ten minutes pacing up and down the room because I was so nervous. I hadn't even bothered to check if she had replied and I always check my phone to see if she has messaged me. In hindsight, I should have probably checked that. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, praying that she had replied.
From: Anjali
haha ok then. I'll see you at five x
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the x at the end of the message. I looked up from my phone to hear the bell of the cafe ringing. My eyes go straight to the door, to the gorgeous girl walking towards me with a small smile on her face.
"Hey" I smiled, standing up and giving her a hug as she approached the table.
"Hey, why the urgency to meet me?" She laughed, hugging back.
Because I can't spend a minute without you."No reason, just to hangout I guess" I rubbed the back of my neck and smiled. She laughed in response and sat down. My heart started beating faster than usual. Trying to ignore it, I sat down and handed her a menu.
"Haha thank god! It sounded like you were going to break some sort of bad news to me. Not going to lie, I did freak out a bit." She sighed, slightly sinking into her seat.
"So, how's everything been? It's been ages since we last met up." She asked, reading through the small menu. I hadn't even realised that instead of reading the menu I was staring at her, until she had caught me.
"It's been good, nothing too exciting. You know how it goes...uni then studying and then if I have the time, sleep." I quickly looked back at the menu, secretly hoping that she didn't catch me.
"Hahah don't I know it! I feel it just doesn't end sometimes." She laughs, taking a sip of her water. I went up to the counter to order, after winning an argument about who should pay. I smiled to myself. Anjali is something else. I can't help myself when I'm around her. I need to ask her out. I can't hold out on onto this feeling any longer. I feel different when I'm around her. This feeling is indescribable but I only feel it around her. I grabbed the number off the counter and walked back to our table at the corner of the shop. I picked it because it was secluded enough but we could still get a good enough view of the entire cafe.
"They said it should be out in ten." I sat down, smiling at her. She looked up from her phone and smiled.
"Okay good, because I just realised that I hadn't eaten lunch, and I'm really hungry." Anjali sighed and chuckled. I looked into her eyes, resisting my urge to get lost in them.
"How can you forget to eat?" I laughed.
"I really have no idea. It just happens, you know?" She replied."Haha ok then." I laughed at her.
Once the food arrived, Anjali and I got stuck into it, making conversation throughout, despite talking with our mouths full.
"Hey, I need to ask you something." Okay Abhi, it's now or never.
"Yeah?"
"I...I was wondering if you, ummm, wanted to, only if you like, maybe go out with me sometime?" I hide my sweaty hands behind my back, praying that my nervousness does not show.
"Go out as in" She smirks in return.
"As in on a date?" I softly smile.
"On a date? Oh my, this is all too sudden!" She starts flailing her arms and acting surprised.
"Hahaha come on Anjali!" I break out into a laugh, forgetting my all nerves. This is her effect on me. Even when I get anxious and nervous, she somehow makes me smile.
"Haha I'm kidding!! Of course I will go out on a date with you" She chuckled, taking a sip of her drink before smiling back up at me.
I sighed with content, shaking my head and leaning back into my chair, taking in every feature of Anjali. There was something about her. Something about her that made my heart flutter and made my mind go crazy. There was something about her and that something, is a feeling that I'm quite sure will never go away.
