Abhi's POV:
I can't wait for Naina to meet Aman. Hopefully they get along well because Naina will end up spending a lot of time with me. I cleared up my bed a bit as there was a bunch of unnecessary crap on it. I chucked some of my clothes into my wardrobe and then my books and stuff into a messy pile on the corner of my table.
"Oi Aman!" I called, trying to grab his attention.
"Mmm?" He mumbled. Aman was lying half asleep in bed. He had a early morning class and being Aman, barely got any sleep the night before.
"My friend is coming over so don't do anything too stupid." I chuckled.
" It's like 9 am. Why the hell is she coming over so early in the morning?!" He grumbled, sitting up from his original position of being spread out in his bed.
"it's 11am! What do you mean early?" I laughed at him, throwing him his basketball that was lying on my side of the room.
I cleared my chair of the so that Naina had somewhere to sit.
There was a soft knock at the door. In the daze of cleaning my side of the room up, I seemed to have forgotten she would be coming. Tripping over the stray pair of jeans on the floor, I pulled the door open, to show Naina standing at the door. She stepped in, assessing the room in the way she does.
"Hey Abhi!" She said, cheerily???
"Hey Naina," I said back, giving her a quick one armed hug. "How're classes?"
"They're pretty good, I guess. How's life for you?" she asks, sitting herself on the chair, twisting it around to face me.
"I talked to mum yesterday, all she did was ask if I got here alright! She's so over protective! It's like she doesn't even realize I'm 19 now!" I said.
"Naww, how sweet of her," she smiled.
"Abhi, have you seen my deoderan- oh hey! Naina!" He said in surprise, seeing her. She gave him a small smile and a sheepish wave in return.
"How do you know her?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
Naina's POV
Oops... I'd been worrying about what would happen if Abhi found out about what happened with me and Aman. And now, here we were.
"I met him on the train," I said, before Aman could open his mouth. Abhi's shoulders straightened the smallest bit, and I frowned a little.
"Holy hell, Naina! Was he the guy?" Abhi said suddenly. Aman looked confused, probably trying to remember what happened on the train.
"Abhi, calm down!" I said quickly. "He's just a friend!" For the briefest second, I thought I saw Aman's face sadden. On the other hand, Abhi's face hardened, a sure fire sign that he was about to hurt someone.
"You were the douche who shamelessly flirted with Naina? You were the one that manhandled her?!" His voice started to rise until he was almost screaming.
"Abhi, please-" I tried to plead with him.
"Shut up Naina! How could you go out with such a guy?!" He turned to me and shouted. I stepped back, letting go of his right arm which I had tried to grab as a means to calm him down.
"Oi mate! She doesn't owe you any explanations." Aman stepped in, his stern voice growing with volume as he stared at Abhi. "She can do whatever she wants. She doesn't need to get your permission first!"
"You have no voice in this!" Abhi jabbed Aman in the chest with enough force that Aman stumbled back. The vein on Abhi's neck started to become more prominent as his anger built up further. "You are a sleazy, disgusting person!" He pushed Aman back as he said every word until Aman was almost against the wall.
"Abhi, please! Stop thi-" I tried shouting whilst pulling Abhi away but my voice shook.
"No!" He yelled and shoved me away. I stumbled backwards and my back slammed against the wall. I yelped in pain, sliding down to the floor as a tear escaped my eye. This has never happened before. My breath started to shorten and I found myself having trouble breathing. Tears streamed down my face.
"Please...guys" I whimpered, pleading the both of them.
"You hurt her." Aman's became more stern than ever. He started forcefully shove Abhi back. "You don't deserve to be near Naina!" He punched Abhi in the face.
"You know nothing about Naina and you never will! You go around, hitting on every other girl. You don't deserve a girl like her!" Abhi retaliated, throwing an equally large punch at Aman.
Abhi's POV:
"And you do?!?" Aman scoffs at me. "Please, you know nothing! Look at you! You are a jealous, egotistical boy who knows nothing about treating girls!"
I lunged myself at him, punching him thrice in the face before he retaliated back, punching me in the stomach and then on the cheek. I felt blood trickle down from lip. I wiped it away and clenched my fists together. Punches were thrown everywhere.
Naina's POV:
I couldn't handle this anymore. My head started spinning and tears kept on flowing.
"STOP IT!! JUST STOP IT ALREADY!!!!!" I screamed, my head throbbing. "BOTH OF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!!!"
"You!" I pointed towards Abhi. "Just because we're friends doesn't mean you have over control my life! I can see whoever I want. YOU do not have to control MY life!!"
"And you, Aman! Just because you took me out to dinner once, doesn't mean you 'know' me! Both of you need to stop. Don't talk to me or even try to contact me until you have sorted yourselves out!" I seethed, anger and tiredness flowing through my veins.
I stormed out of the room, grabbing my bag as I opened the door before slamming it shut. I screamed out in frustration. I am completely done with the both of them. If they want to see me again, then they have to prove it.
