"I'm seriously sorry I had to go to the hospital and our plans were shut down" I tell Ashton on the speaker phone.

I had been released from the hospital three days ago and as of right now I'm driving to school, it's good to be getting back to my normal routine.

Dad had let me stay home and I was thankful for that.

"Hey your health is way more important then our silly little date, we can always having a rain check" I nod even though he can't see me, he called it a date I didn't.

"So the rain check is?" he laughs, I crack a smile.

"Just get better first." he says, I frown, I was better I mean I felt myself today, I have no clue what he's talking about.

"I'm almost at school, I'll see you later" I say changing the subject.

My mind was still running about yesterday when everyone came to see me, I was shocked when Ashton and Grayson came in supporting forced smiles, but when they laid eyes on me they both showed genuine smiles.

Parking in a random lot which is a lot since its only seven-thirty in the morning and school doesn't start till eight-fifteen.

Mason's car was here because his track team is having another group, I really didn't pay attention when he told me. Grayson's car was here because he has to be or we wouldn't be team captains anymore.

Then the teachers cars, I shut off the engine grabbing my bag, phone, and an apple before locking my car doors and walking through the the main doors.

"So Rebecca, how are you?" Mrs Taylor questions, in the corner of my eye I see Grayson eyeing me carefully.

"I'm good" I answer, my back straightens as Mrs Taylor searches my eyes before nodding.

"Becca this is a safe place you don't have to lie" she tells me and Grayson nods. "You can always talk to us." She encourages.

For the first time I actually take time to myself to see if I'm okay, I mean I felt great outside bubbly, happy, energetic. But inside was a whole different story, I felt broken, crushed, I wanted to scream.

I slouch down "I really don't know" I announce, Mrs Taylor nods "I mean outside I'm happy and all but inside my minds screaming, like literally" Mrs Taylor sighs sadly.

"Your therapist is a friend of mine, I think it's best for your first session you talk about," she hesitates as she looks between Grayson and I.

"You talk about that touchy subject" she says, I nod.

"Grayson tell me what you first thought when you heard Rebecca was rushed to the hospital?"

Grayson clears his throat "Well the team had told me when I got to school, I thought they were lying but then Kalyn had told informed me it was true, she had to take care of her brothers till further notice" Mrs Taylor nods.

"And what did you do?" She asks, he shrugs.

"I mean obviously I cared she's my cheer captain, I have to care" he says.

"You know I think you two have gotten closer, I mean like no sarcastic remarks,no talking back something happened" she comments.

"People change" I answer before Grayson could. Not like we could change the way we are around each other.

My eyes shift over to my right seeing Mason walk in with a bunch of sixth graders, Mason nods then leads the group towards our door, his fist softly knocks on the door.
