"I'm so mad at you guys for not inviting me to watch the sun rise" Kalyn pouts from the back on my car. Ashley and I just laugh.
"You aren't a night owl nor a morning person what were we gonna do?" Ashley questions her.
We were certainly heading for Dave's Breakfast diner, that obviously served breakfast and brunch. Since Kalyn doesn't wake up till ten sometimes till two in the afternoon.
"But come on watching the sun rise is on my bucket list" Ashley snaps her head back to Kalyn giving her a look.
I look in my mirror, giving her the same look.
"Okay fine, you guys are right" She confesses quietly. I grin at her.
"So tell what happened between you and Grayson" Kalyn calls from the back.
"I forgave him, but he's going to earn the trust he lost" I say simply,
"You go girl. Give it too him" she fist pumps the air as she checks her phone, I laugh.
"Maybe he'll earn the trust during Homecoming" Kalyn says, dropping her phone on the seat beside her.
Ashley turns around in her seat "Oh My Gosh! that's what I said" she squeals. Kalyn joins in.
I roll my eyes, "We can even help with the surprise!" Kalyn squeals again
"Woah. If it's meant to be a surprise about me why am I still in the car?" I question them and they looked confused for a while.
Then seconds later they have that oh face, I laugh. How are they my best friends.
"Right, never mind. Rebecca" Kalyn tells me as I pull into Dave's Breakfast diner.

"Any dates for homecoming on your end?" I question the girls as our waiter leaves us.
"I'm still hoping Nathan will ask me" Kalyn says from beside Ashley, who was seated across from me.
"Are you guys a thing?" Ashley questions. I thank her for asking that out loud.
"Were uhh complicated. I guess" Kalyn shrugs.
"Why? haven't you guys talked about it?" I question.
"He says he's busy with school and football" she sighs "But he's always so touchy and all that, it looks like we're dating. But we're not" she says defeated.
"Don't worry Ashley yand I were will talk to him" We laugh, as Kalyn dramatically rolls her eyes.
"Ashely what about you?" Kalyn questions.
"Nah. Maybe I'll find one at homecoming, if I'm lucky" Kalyn shrugs. We laugh.
"We should totally go dress shopping soon" I tell suggest to them, they nod.
"What's the theme this time?" I ask, Ashley shrugs.
Kalyn sets down her glass of water "Winter Wonderland" She says, Mine and Ashley's face light up.
