I sit there stunned that my twin brother died and I didn't even get the chance to say goodbye to him or I never told him I love him.
I look to my left to see Aiden's phone blowing up with the house number, maybe it's Grayson calling.
But I then remembered Aiden went home to pick Grayson up, so he must've left his phone.
Mason sits down beside me, sighing. "Rebecca?" he questions gently.
I look up at him, tears no longer coming out, my eyes feel dry. I couldn't cry anymore.
The double doors slide open and Grayson runs in, Aiden not too far behind him.
I take one look at Grayson and break down again. Mason wraps an arm around my shoulder.
"Mason?" Grayson questions.
I could tell Mason shook his head and that was the moment I first saw Grayson Clark break down in tears for his best friend.
He will also never get the chance to say goodbye to him like me, looks like we have one thing in common.
I wake up to the annoying sound of heart monitors, and I'm not even attached to one. I groan turning in my uncomfortable hospital bed, I am currently wishing I was sleeping in my own bed.
Why I had a heart monitor attached to me was beyond me, I had
The lights dim and a hand was placed on my forehead, my eyes flutter open to see Dad smiling down at me, I give him a tired smile back.
"Hi sweetie" he says and he looked like he just ran a marathon
"How was the game?" I question my voice hoarse.
He gives me a proud smile "we won" I nod.
"The surgery went great sweetie and everything was perfect" Dad states. I sigh with relief.
"Thank god" I breathe. My father looks across the room before straightening up.
"I'm gonna call your brothers and Lauren" I nod my head actually excited to see my brothers and Lauren.
"Oh and Grayson has been here since the game ended, he didn't even go out for pizza" he points to my right as he pulls on the door and opens it before exciting.
I turn over to my right and see Grayson leaning against the wall, a green dark hoodie and the hood up.
"Yea okay" I whisper to myself with a chuckle, he opens his eyes a small grin on his face. He gets up walking towards me whilst taking off his hood of his hoodie.
"See I promised" he whispers before kissing my forehead.
"How bad was the game?" I question as he pulls away.
"Do you really want to know?" he questions, grabbing my cold hand and I realize I've missed his warmth even though I was so new to it.
"Let's just say Josh went home with a concussion" he shrugs and I laugh.
"How are you feeling?" he questions, I flash him a thumbs up before rolling my eyes.
"You know just pain running through my ankle" I shrug, he looks down at my leg then back to my eyes.
