{Okay. So my computer broke and I am currently updating off a mobile device. So, I won't be having any bold or 'special' lettering. Sorry :( but here is the next chapter!)
Chapter: 9
Ash's POV:
"Calm down?! Don't tell me to calm down when one of my friends could possibly die dumb ass!" I yell at Trent. He has really gotten on my last nerve today. He doesn't know anything about most things. Yet he acts if so he does.
"She will make it through! She is strong! Stop bitching and go to fucking sleep! Mom! Damn, you act like a mom so fucking much." He drops into the couch.
I kneel down by Bex and start mumbling. "Bex, there is a hospital not to far from here. The sun is coming up and I could get something to stitch your head."
I quickly stand up and grab a flashlight. Shaking it and turning it on and off making sure to works. Stashing it into my backpack I get weird looks from Lea.
"Look, my parents have clothing up stairs. My mom may have something for you and Bex. You can change into that and I'm going to take my dads bike for a ride. If I don't come back in 4 hours take Bex and keep heading to the nearest town. I'll find my way there." The hospital is only 5 miles away. A quick bike there and back.
"But where are you-" I have no time to answer and I am rushing over to the shed with all the bikes and air pumps. Oddly enough my dads bike is still all good and the tires just need air. Which is what they got.
--
The bike ride to the hospital was pretty short. I mean I was peddling for my life. For Bex's life to be exact. And now I have to break through doors. Which really was easy. The hard part was finding the stuff for Bex. All I really need is numbing stuff and a needle and stitching stuff. The surgery supply closest!
Running up three flights of stairs I stop at the door. I have to make this quick. The only problem was the door is stuck and its made of glass. One smash to the door with my shoe and the whole thing is shattered.
Wiping some glass off my arm and leg I run down the hall. Kicking down the surgeons room door and opening the cabinet with all the stuff.
To my greatness everything is still there. Even a note.
Something odd is happening. I don't know what. People are running around screaming while I hide up here. I have no clue what to do. People are asking me to save them. When I can't without killing them. When whatever it is that is taking over our world bites them, the sickness goes to the head. You can't do anything about it, unless you kill them. I don't wanna do that. I'm scared to. I have never killed anybody before. I don't wanna kill anybody. I'm a doctor. Who would want to do that? You are meant to save life's. But I guess you can't in this situation. You just have to go with the flow. Even though right now, hiding isn't the best idea. Hiding in this closet you can hear the world going mad. People are wanting supplies that they are just stealing them. Can this get any worse? -Doctor Jess
Doctor Jess, the world did. The only thing I am glad of is that the stuff I need is still here.
Now for the ride home.
Trent's POV:
"Why can't we just leave?" I ask. We are trying to stop the bleeding from Bex's head and its been a few hours sense Ash left.
"It hasn't been 4 hours yet." Lea replies looking at the door.
"The bleeding as stopped to a point where we can get her from point A to point B." I try and get her to say something. I have been waiting for a few hours and Ash just left randomly.
"No. We have to wait for Ash." Is all Lea says before she sits by me.
"I'm sorry." I say facing her.
"It's okay." She smiles giving me a quick peck on the cheek.
Ash's POV:
I walk into the room looking at Bex. "I have stuff to stitch her head. Here" I toss a bottle of numbing cream to Trent. "Here big boy. Stitch her head up." I smirk as his face is priceless.
