Chapter 20:
Bex's P.O.V
First, Lea says we have to leave. Next, we get attacked by zombie's. Then, Andy gets shot. Not a good start to whatever day it is. I stopped keeping track when I was out. I don't remember a lot of things, but I remember most of the good memories.
"Bex!" Reed yelled snapping me out of my thoughts. "Watch it! You're going to get killed."
Since there were about 100 Zombies out there, us girls were fighting them off while the guys took care of little Andy. I shot one after another, but it soon got too much for me to handle. I decided I would stop. I looked at the girls who were fighting off them dead ugly things.
"Ash, your left!" Liam yelled.
"Lea, your right!" Trent yelled.
No one seemed to be paying attention to me. "I'll distract them!" I whispered and ran out of the house.
As I ran through the group of corpses, I thought of how this will end. How life will be eating the flesh of someone I used to know. My memory, swiped. My heart, stopped. The people I love, how they would react to such a stupid girl I am.
"Bex!" I hear everyone scream.
I ignore them. I make sure the Zombie's follow me and I pick up my gun and shoot my leg.
Ouch.
That hurt more then I was expecting.
I gallop away knowing that this blood was attracting them ugly things. At least my friends are safe and they can get away. I made sure that there was a note in my place so they know it was meant to happen so they could get away and save Andy.
*Flashback*
I can see the zombies making there way here. Slowly but surely. They'll be here soon. I smile at Reed, who now had his arms snaked around my waist. I'm still facing the window. Reed is behind me. I believe this is his way of trying to calm me down.
"Reed, I need to be alone for awhile." I whisper with my eyes closed.
"Okay, call me in when you need me." He let me go and left.
I took out a piece of paper and started to write.
'Dear, Ash, Lea, Andy, Liam, Trent, Max, Reed, and anyone else we pick up in the next twenty-four hours. I can see the zombies coming as of now, eight o'clock am. They are moving slowly, but they will be here. Someone will get hurt. I can feel it. I'll distract them while they all get here. I'll shoot my self and attract them with my blood. It'll give you ALL time to get out of here. I love you all so very much, but it's better me then anyone else. It'll be a somewhat shorter death. Take care and if I make it... I'll find you.

I put the note in my pocket and jump on the bed. Reed must have heard the creaking because he came in and laid next to me. We fall asleep early that night.
*End of Flashback*
I stop running. I must have ran for twenty minutes. I can't run anymore. I'll just let them take me.
Max's P.O.V
"Where did she go?" I scream at Reed.
"I don't know!" He whispered back.
"You were with her how do you no-" I got cut off by Andy.
"Look! A note, I think." She points to the folded up paper on the ground.
Ash picks it up and reads it to herself first. She smiles, but then frowns after a second. I can see the tears demanding to be released, but she fights them.
