Unstable lovers

Chapter Seventeen

I woke up extra early to get ready for mine and Luke's date, it wasn't for around 5 hours but I had been awake for ages and couldn't sleep because of how excited I was. I decided it would be a good idea to take a long shower to pass time since I had so much spare time. I put some music on my phone and got in and began washing my hair.

I showered for around 30 minutes before I decided I had taken long enough. I looked at the time on my phone. 9am. I still had 4 and a half hours as the date wasn't until 1.30pm.

I decided to get changed into something simple until it was reasonable enough to change into my outfit for the date. I put on some black shorts and a oversized Asking Alexandria Tshirt, then tied my hair up into a messy bun before grabbing an old blanket and a book and going downstairs to find my keys.

I left the house and locked the door before setting off to walk to an old lake that mikey and I used to visit when we were younger. I hadn't been there for ages but it was somewhere we always use to go to let off steam. These days I only really go there for peace or to study when I'm feeling stressed.

It took me about 15 minutes to get there, it was a lot more grown over since the last time I had been there and there were a lot more flowers and plants. I still found it just as beautiful as it used to be though. I layed out my blanket and got comfy before starting to read my book.

My phone rang and I jumped up to answer it.

"Hey squirt, do you want me to come pick you up from the lake? Your date is in a few hours," Michael says.

"How do you always know where I am?" I say laughing.

"What can I say? I'm a mind reader!" He giggles. "So I'll set off to get you now if you want?" He asks.

"Okay see you soon sprout,"

"See yah soon squirt,"

I hadn't noticed that I had been a whole 2 and a half hours.
Pretty soon Michaels car pulled up and I got in to go home.

Omg I didn't even know I hadn't updated since February I'm sorry, I'm sorry this chapter was short and boring but the next chapters are going to be a lot more eventful I hope.
