Chapter Eleven

T-shirt explained later.....

I woke up to see Luke cuddled up to me-still asleep. I was so tired, but I looked at my phone an saw that it was 11:30 am.

I turn to face Luke and tap his shoulder in an attempt to wake him up.

"Luke's it's time to wake up," I say poking his cheek.
He sturrs a bit before opening his eyes sleepily.
"It's closer to lunch time than it is morning!" I say, giggling.
"What time is it?" He asks.
" half eleven," I say.
"Oh. Maybe we should call Darren and Michael?"
"Sure. But maybe we should get changed first," I say.
"Ok."

None of us attempt to get up for a good 5 minutes. Until Luke slowly gets up and climbs out of bed, and I follow him.

Luke chooses some clothes from his closet, and I go to the bathroom to change into my clothes from yesterday.

I was about to get dressed when I heard a knock at the bathroom door.

"Lilly? Are you in there?"
"Obviously I am Luke," I say laughing at how stupid that question was.
"Erm, well... I...I got you a new t-shirt to wear. I...I...If you want it that is, I think it will look better on you than it does me," he says.

He was so damn adorable.

"Ok thank you," I say as I open the door.
He looks up at me and smiles nervously.
"If you don't like it you can choose another," he says, handing it to me.

It was an all time low shirt. I remember I wanted to buy the exact same one a while ago. (Picture at the top)

"Are you sure Luke? This is a really nice shirt, I don't wanna ruin it," I say, admiring the shirt I was holding.

"You can keep it. I never wear it," he says sweetly

"Aww are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm sure. I'm gonna go get changed. So see you when your done." He says before walking back into his room.

I get changed into the shirt and my jeans from yesterday. I decide to not wear my flannel shirt over it because I liked the shirt too much. I didn't care that I was wearing all black. I was wearing Luke's shirt, and that made me feel safe and confident. It even smelled like him.
I put on my vans and went back to Luke's room.

"See!! I told you it would look amazing on you!" He said when he saw me.

I felt my face blushing.

"What? Really?" I say. Not quite believing him.

"Yes Lilly! You look really pretty no matter what. But I really like that shirt on you. It really does look gorgeous!" He says with a huge smile on his face.

"Aww Luke your so sweet. Thanks !" I say. 

"Do you wanna borrow a jacket too? I have plenty," he says.

"Erm...I don't mind, I'm sure I'll be fine." I said.

"It's pretty cold though I think you should bring one with you anyway," he says before standing up and going over to his closet.
He picks out a black jacket with a white zip and throws it at me.
I managed to catch it and we both begin laughing.

"So shall we set off to my house?" I say

"Sure," he replies.

We then go outside to Luke's car and I turn on his music while he is still locking his door.

Bite my tongue by you me at six came on and I started humming along quietly. I love that song so much.

Luke hopped into the seat next to me before doing his seatbelt and starting the car.

We drove along yelling the words to the music as loudly a we could. And giggling with one another.

When we got to my house Luke turned the music off and we got out of the car.

I unlocked my door and welcomed Luke into my house.

No one was downstairs so me and Luke crept upstairs to wake Darren and Michael.

"The Lazy shits will still be asleep, they'd never get out of bed if it wasn't for me" I say giggling

When we got to the top of the stairs we decided to wake Darren first.

"3....2.....1....go!" Luke whispers. And then we both charged into his room screaming.

Darren falls onto the floor and also begins screaming along with us. Which resulted in me and Luke laughing hysterically.

"What the hell are you doing scaring me like that? Oh my god I had a fucking heart attack you dicks!" Darren says.

"Aww we're sorry Daz . Are you ok?" I say, still laughing.

"Yeah I'm good," he says smiling sleepily.

The door opens and a tired looking Michael enters the room.

"What's going on?" He says before yawning.

"I swear I heard screaming," he adds.

"Oh yeah. We just woke Darren up. That's all," Luke says.

"Like that!?" Michael says, laughing.

"Erm. Yeah," Luke replies. "It worked pretty well, I mean he's awake isn't he. And so are you now," he adds

"Me and Lilly had an idea that we could all go camping somewhere. Seeing as it's the weekend. We could go to the beach or something," he says.

"That's a good idea actually! Daz we should pack some stuff!" He adds. Looking a little more awake at that.

"Yeah sure," Darren says while yawning and standing up off the floor.

"Nice shirt by the way Squirt!" Michael says.

"Thanks Sprout. Luke gave me it. It's amazing isn't it?!" I say excitedly.

"Yeah it's cool," he says.
"Anyway I'm gonna go get ready. Why don't you and Luke go sort out a tent and food and stuff?" He adds.

"Sure. Luke already brought a huge tent which is for 8 people, so we won't need another one. But we can sort food and sleeping stuff. Come on Luke," I say, before walking out of Darren's room and downstairs to the kitchen.

We got all the things we needed and set off on the hour long journey to the beach.
