"They're such little pieces of..."

"Mads, I don't like them either but leave it now." I interrupt her.

We're all sitting in a circle ever so casually in Madison's dorm. I'm sitting opposite Madison with Levi and Courtney next to me. In between Aura and Madison sits Daniel.

Suddenly, Madison's phone beeps making all our attention focus on her phone. The phone's behind me.

Are you busy? -F

I didn't mean to look at her message but I don't know. As soon as I see it, instantly my hands cover the screen as I grab it. I wonder whether Aura and Courtney saw. When I pass her phone to her, I lock the screen so Daniel could mind his own business. His eyes were glaring at the phone as much as I was glaring at him and oh I was definitely glaring at him making his movements to Mads. I'm trying to figure out whether she's showing any interest to him. I'm just hoping what I saw earlier on was a misinterpretation. This can't be like Aria and Ezra, I'm referring to the show Pretty Little Liars.

Madison quickly looks at her phone and then glances up to me. I look back at her with a neutral expression to see what she does. She does nothing, yet.

"I'm over it. Forgot those attention seekers." Madison refers to Laura and Abigail, avoiding eye contact with me.

Daniel taps her and smiles at her while Courtney and Aura cheer.

"Yeah." I shrug, catching Mads's attention.

"Well, I'm going to go eat. Who wants to come?" Aura asks with a smile painted on her face.

"Me!"

"Yeah I'm hungry."

Everyone but Mads and I nods their head. Then their attentions are fixed on ours.

"Levi? Mads?" Daniel looks at us.

Gosh he's doing it again. Only inviting me to get to Mads. Urgh, so annoying.

I shake my head. "No thank you."

Mads also shakes her head, "I'm not hungry."

"Okay, see you both later." Courtney cheers and then her tummy rumbles, making everybody burst into laughter.

"We need to go fast before her belly erupts." Aura warns and Daniel nods his head as they all walk out.

Courtney playfully nudges Aura, "Hey!"

"Go, go, go!" Aura beams.

"Alright, bye." Daniel quickly turns around, facing Madison.

She waves at him and they were finally gone.

There's a moment of silence once the door slams. Not a comforting silence but an awkward one. Then Mads grabs her phone and begins to stare at it.

"Mads, if I ask you something will you be honest?" I give her a heads up.

She nods her head, not saying a word. That's surprising, she loves talking and smiling yet there was no smile to be seen.

"Where was you 6 hours ago?" I interrogate her in the nicest way possible but it didn't seem nice at all.

She stays silent and finally speaks. "You know?"

"Tell me what I know."

"I'm kind of in this complicated relationship with Fallon?"

"Fallon?" My expression drops into a confused one.

"Mr Pepe." She looks away.

Makes sense.

"Madison! Really? Why?" I look at her in sympathy with my wide eyes.

She shrugs her shoulders. "It's complicated."

"Oh a student-teacher relationship, nothing complicated about that." I sarcastically remark.

She carries on looking at the ground. "Stop."

"Is it because you cheated on the test? I'll stop being judgemental." I actually care.

She shakes her head. "No, it started when I cheated on the test. I was going to tell him but then we just accidentally kissed and then another and so on."

"Did you guys..."

"No!" Mads stops me straight away. "I need to end this, don't I?"

"Do you actually want my opinion?"

She nods her head.

"Do you have feelings for him?"

She nods her head.

"Well, if you end it now you'll feel more attracted to him and we need you to move on."

She looks down in defeat, "I don't know, I really like him."

"Maybe you like the idea of being rebellious."

She laughs, "Well, I am a rebel."

"Of course." I laugh with her. "Er, how can you date a person round 10 years older than you? When he was 20 you was 10, yuck!" I mimic a barf.

She grabs a pillow from her bed and throws it at me. "Ew that is disgusting." She carries on laughing.

"So?" I ask knowing she knows I saw the text message.

"Who needs a ten year older man, he's good looking but I don't need him." She smirks at me.

Then we both agree to watch a movie, taking our minds off things.
