"Levi..." The head assistant pauses. "I expected better from you."

"I will do better, it's just that this is the first time so I'm getting a hang of it."

"When do you think you'll be ready?"

"End of the year."

"Will you continue at least getting passes along the year?"

"Yes." I nod my head in approval.

She grins. "Just remember to relax, if you're ever stressed you can talk to me or anybody you feel comfortable with."

I sigh in relief. "So you're not taking away my scholarship?"

"Of course not! Why would we?"

"I didn't meet the grade requirements."

"That's at the end of the year!" She laughs.

"Oh, that makes sense." I mumble with a low amplitude.

She escorts me out of the office and I walk out feeling like a complete fool. Wow but my parents told me? Yes, my parents! They wanted perfection each term.

As I walk out of the school, I see a medium height girl with light blonde, thick and curly hair wearing huge, black glasses. The sound of her weeping somehow has an affect on me. How? I feel sort of... Unstable.

"Hey." I shoot her a sympathetic smile.

She tries her best to cover her tears with her long sleeve of her black, baggy jumper, "Hey." She greets in a loud tone.

For once, through this entire time all I've seen was smart clothes - It does make sense since we're in school but still! It feels so good to see somebody wear a casual jumper, it says something but it'll be a little awkward if I tried to look.

"I'm going to get dessert, want to come?" I try to be casual.

Her eyes glitter at the word 'dessert' and a grin appears. "Yes! Who can reject dessert?"

"I'm not paying." I state as fast as I could.

"Oh trust me you're paying." She laughs.

I slouch in defeat. "Well, you can tell me what you were crying about?" I try to say it with sympathy but I think I failed.

She begins to laugh and look away. "Um, it was nothing really." She moves the strand of hair covering her face.

I arch an eyebrow. "I'm not paying." I try to blackmail her.

"I know you aren't, I was always intending to pay!" She cheers.

Okay no I feel bad. She doesn't need to tell me or pay.

"No, no! It's okay! I can pay for myself, I'll even pay for you. You don't need to tell me, I really don't mind." I quickly mumble not really knowing how to apologise for being insensitive.

"No, it's okay. Seriously! I'm loaded." She winks.

"Well, if you insist." I can't help but cave in.

"I was crying because I just did marathon for The Vampire Diaries and it makes me so sad how Elena is now in a coma and Katherine is dead." She quickly admits.

Then I realize that her jumper says "Don't talk to me, my favorite characters just died... Again."

I start to laugh, "Oh! I should've known!" I gesture to her jumper.

She flips her hair. "I know right! My jumper says it all yet you still talked to me."

I fake a gasp. "Woah, sorry."

She just chuckles and nudges me so we both go to the dessert place. Yum.
