We're running, and running, and running.
This is getting annoying, these past few moments feel like filler episodes in a show. I need some answers. Now.
First I need to catch my breath.
"Wait," I huff.
Selena continues running.
"Not now," she points to a shed in the distance quite far, but close enough to see it, "then."
Once we reach the shed Selena raises her hand to stop me. Slowly she creeps to the door and knocks. Nobody answers. She pulls out her legs and opens the door. She takes one step in and looks around. Then she looks back at me.
"Come," she gestures.
As soon as I enter the door is slammed right behind me. A rush of wind brushes my cheeks and arms surround me.
"Levi," the voice squeals, Aura.
"What are you doing here?" I take a step back, slamming my back on the wall.
"Everything's going to be alright," Elisa walks in.
"What is happening?" I scream in frustration.
I don't understand how calm they can be, I swear they better not be pranking me.
"Is this a prank?" I squint my eyes, sending poisonous glares.
"No," Selena whispers, she's sitting on a chair and looks up.
"Then what?" I shout, demanding for an answer.
Well clearly they thought it was a rhetorical question as silence elegantly dances in this shed. I groan in frustration and sit down, blocking the door. I want answers and I want them now.
I'm not leaving. They're not leaving. Nobody's leaving and nobody's entering until I get some damn answers.
I need to think of questions first...
I'm guessing they can all sense my annoyance since they never attempted to say a word. They're carefully watching me, almost as if they're observing.
Lacking the humanity I ask, "What?"
They all look at each other and Selena groans. Then she nods approvingly, resulting in Aura to speak.
"Remember the person who kidnapped my little sister, Daphne," Aura looks directly at me.
I nod, "Yeah?"
"It was Carrie," she waits for me to react.
Although I've recently come to conclusions that she's an imposter, it still shocks me.
"But how?" I ask, really I'm speechless.
"It doesn't matter how, she was blackmailed," her arms crossed and her expression stern.
"By who?" I gulp.
"Mr f*cking Pepe, he's so stupid he used his real name," Aura curses.
"How do you know it's legit?" I ask for confirmation.
Elisa softly coughs, "Remember my file? The one I told you to protect? Yeah that's because I got caught breaking in his house and now have a criminal record.
