I swear this place already looked enormous on the website yet in reality it manages to be even bigger than I expected. There's a lot of grass like a lot. I thought grass barely survived in the winter yet around 50m² (I'm guessing) is covered with grass in front of the building.
"Excuse me? Are you lost?" A well mannered stranger asks me, she probably works at the school.
As I turn to glance her, I see an average height girl with long, dark brown/purplish hair. She's wearing huge, black glasses which magnifies her hazel eyes making them look wide. She looks at me in confusion. She can't be a teacher, she looks my age. She's a student.
"I'm..." I bite my lip, forbidding myself from making a sarcastic comment to this kind stranger. "Yes, I'm lost. I had a tour a few days ago but I still don't recognize this place." I shrug.
"Aww", she laughs sympathically. "I've always had trips here during highschool so I know this place inside and out. You can stick with me if you want."
She kindly offers as she fiddles with her sleeve, obviously I accept. She's wearing a formal navy blue shirt tucked in a white skirt up to her knees. Whereas there's me, wearing a plain jumper with skinny jeans. It finally hits me that most the students probably know this place inside and out. Not many people from where I come from gets a place here.
She starts to smile at me while she touches her hair. I raise my eyebrows in response as my nervous smile is glittering with hesitation.
"You haven't told me your name yet!" She beams in explanation.
"Well, I don't think I'm obligated to!" I tease, trying to hide my smile.
"Why's that?" She challenges.
"You haven't told me your name yet!" I mimic her as I start to walk.
"Oh yeah!" She laughs as she catches up with me, "My name's Madison."
A curl appears upon her lips, making her cheekbones so defined. Doesn't she ever stop smiling? Smiling that much would cramp my face.
"My name's Levi." I split my lips showing my teeth in attempt to mimic her beaming smile but fail drastically.
I can tell I failed because she starts bursting into laughter as soon as I attempted the smile. Maybe it was a bad idea to smile showing my teeth, after all she didn't do that. I know I mimicked a melodramatic version of her smile but point proven though, the girl smiles a lot.
All of a sudden, a deadly straight line appears on her face. Supposedly even more deadly than mine. I have to admit, this is scary.
She's not looking at my direction so I assume that she's not looking at me. Instead, she's looking to her right (I'm at her left). I follow her cold stare, revealing two girls and a boy.
I tap her on the shoulder. "Are you okay? I recognize that death stare."
As soon as she turns to me her face refreshes into an optimistic expression. A small chuckle escapes out of her as a smirk appears.
"Ethan, the boy who thinks he can buy people's devotion. He clearly lacks the knowledge that pretty much most of us are as rich as him." She gestures to the boy with short, black hair and green eyes.
Now she's gesturing towards the two girls. One has long, dark brown hair. She's wearing a really pretty, light pink lipstick that complements her skin tone. The other girl has blonde hair and she's wearing dark red lipstick that sharpens all her features. "Abigail and Laura, the hostile girls that creates delusions making them think everybody envies them. They acted like they ruled highschool and they're already acting like Queen Bees here."Finally! The gossiping has started. We both feed each other with gossip as we walk towards our dorms.
