The bell just rang which means class is over and I can now get away from him, i pick up my books and shortly after I start to walk out of the class and I hear him shouting my name but I keep on walking. Soon enough he catches up with me and I turn around to face him, "did you not hear me call your name?" He asks and I just stare at him as if I didn't. "No" I say, obviously that's a lie but he doesn't know that. At least I hope I'm a better liar than I think.

"What are you doing now?" He asks.

"Walking just like you."

"I mean when you go back home."

"Studying why?"

"Do you want to go out tonight?"

"I can't I have to study."

"It's not with just me, Raisen and Keegan will be there."

"Erm okay then."

"Did you think I was asking you out on a date?"

"No I just didn't want be alone with you."

"Oh." He says sounding a little upset, why am I being so harsh on him. I don't even know him but yet I want to get to know him but I can't.

"See you later." He says and walks out of the college and I wait a minute before leaving so I don't look like I am following him or something.

The walk back to the dorms wasn't that bad, it was faster because I was by myself. I'm not even sure if Rowen wanted me to wait for her, so we could walk back together. I get my key out and open the door and I see her laying on her bed, I guess it was okay that I didn't wait then. "Hey! How was your first day?" She asks and I pull my bag off of my shoulder and chuck it down on the floor and then walk over to Rowen and sit at the end of her bed.

"Not bad, did you know Kyle took English lit?" I ask her and she shakes her head, "no he never said." She replies and I gulp, maybe he didn't want his friends to know. "Don't worry I won't say anything!" She says, answering my question in my head.

"Thanks!" I say a few minutes later because I got lost in my thoughts again, I get up from her bed and go over to mine and lay there for a few minutes.

"Kyle text me saying your coming tonight?"
"Uh yeah I was going to, but I'm just going to stay in and study." I tell her and she shakes her head.

"Well you better tell him you're not coming." She replies as she turns around and starts ramming through her wardrobe.

"Why?" I ask her as I sit by my desk and open my books. She turns around and looks at me before chucking her phone over.

"Just do it. Use my phone as you don't have his number."

Rowens phone lands on my bed, I reach over and see that his messages are already on her phone. I try my best not to read their conversation but it's right in front of me, all I can see is his text telling her that I am coming tonight. Shortly after, I decide to text him as I've already took too long on her phone. Not that she has noticed, Rowen's too busy getting ready.

*Hey, it's Em. Raisen said that I should text you to let you know that I'm not coming tonight. I've got other plans.*

As soon as I hit send, I wait to see if he replies but he doesn't so I give Rowen her phone back and she smiles.

"You sure your not coming?" She asks and I nod before returning to my books.

A couple of minutes go by and I hear the door open and close. I turn to see that Rowen has left without saying bye. Looks like it's just me tonight and my books, I don't really mind
because I need to make sure I don't fall behind in my work.
