"You can't wear those." Rowen says as she removes my glasses from my face and closes them before placing them, back down on my bedside table. Next thing I hear is someone knocking on our door and Rowen opens it, revealing Keegan and Kyle who are standing out in the hall way. I make my way out the room after Rowen and her and Keegan start walking away from me, leaving me to see Kyle leaning against the wall and once I pass him and look at him he starts to walk next to me without saying a word until we arrive to the club.
"So Kyle, who's the girl that you slept with last night?" Keegan asks him as we sit at the bar and I look away for a second and Rowen looks over at me. "Melissa, we spoke a few times and then we fucked." He replies and Keegan laughs a little bit, before Rowen slaps his arm to make him stop. "I won't be seeing her again." He later says as he looks over at me, probably trying to see if I am bothered. I mean why would he want to know what I was thinking, he probably just looked over for no reason. "Like the other girls?" Rowen asks him and he nods and continues to drink his beer and Rowen and Keegan continue on being cute with each other, with her sitting on his knee and then whispering to one another and then there is me and Kyle not talking and sitting uncomfortably.
"Does it bother you that I sleep with loads of girls?" He asks me whilst grinning, like he usually does. "No." I quickly say and take another drink, he looks down at my drink and his eyes follow it up to my mouth. "Then why did you look away?"
Why does he even care, he doesn't like me and he is just a boy who uses girls for sex, I've never even slept with anyone before. I've only ever kissed someone and that was back when I was fourteen and in high school.
"When?" I ask him, I obviously know what he is talking about but I want to hear him say it, just to make sure that we are both on the same page for once.
"I was talking about having sex with this girl."
Why was he pleasant when his sister was with us and actually acted like a normal human being, even for a twenty year old boy in college. He was a completely different person the other day and I prefer him when he's nice to me.
"I wasn't even listening." I lie and he scratches the back of his neck, like he usually does when he feels a little awkward. That is something I have already picked up on and I haven't even known him for that long but it's hard not to notice him, he's not someone who just blends in: he is the opposite. He stands out from everyone else, apart from Keegan, they both have the same typical 'bad boy' look, that my mum warned me about.
