Chapter Two

// Jen's POV //

After two subjects it's finally lunch. I remembered what Tati just said before. People will hate me more. But instead of going in their table I sit in an empty table which is near the trash. While eating, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look back and saw.... Tati?

"Hey I told you to join in our table," she said.

"But I-" she cut me off by pulling me to go in their table. People are looking at me. When we arrived at their table, the girls are smilling to me. Why are they so nice?

"So girls, this is Jennifer," she introduced me while smilling.

"Uhm hi?" I says looking down

"Hey don't be shy. We won't bite and were not that mean like the others. Don't bother them," Bailey said. We sit and they introduced themselves.

"Hi I'm Bailey. Bailey Sok,"

"Hi I'm Malia Tinay but you can call me Boogie,"

"Hi I'm Marielle Caldwell,"

"Hey I'm Tahani, Tahani Anderson,"

They seem so nice really nice. They all smiled at me. I still can see some people looking at me. I look around and see some looking at us.

"Hey don't bother them. They're just jealous of you," Boogie said.

"Do you guys accept me in your group? I mean it's just uhm. It's nothing," I said while smh.

"Of course we accept you. We've always wanted to be your friends but you're not that always around so we can't talk to you," Tahani said.

"Okay girls what about we'll have a sleepover? On friday?" Tati said happily.

"That's great!" They all said in unison. Uh what about me?

"Hey don't worry Jen you're coming with us," Bailey said.

"I'll ask my mom about it later or my brother," I said smilling.

"Your brother? Who's your brother?" Marielle said.

"Uhm I'm Jennifer, Jennifer San Jose so I guess you already know who is it right?"

"KENNETH?!?!?!" They all said in unison while screaming. Again people look at us.

"Yeah and be quiet!" I replied.

"Uh Jen do you know that Bailey-" Boogie was cut off by Bailey then she suddenly covers Boogie's mouth.

"Oooh that's nothing Jen don't worry about it," Bailey said faking a smile. I wonder what is it. I think I'll know that on the sleepover.

"Okay?" I said. Then we all ate our food. After that we all headed back to our next subjects.

*Skip the classes* (I'm too lazy to write)

I headed to the parking lot to see my brother. Well we always meet before and after classes 'cause it's just. Ugh. Nevermind. While driving, I ask my brother about the sleepover.

"Kuya (older brother) my friends are having some sleepover at friday. Can I go?"

"Since when did you have new friends? Who are they?" He says wiggling his eyebrows. Are you kidding me?

"Since today? And they are Tati, Marielle, Boogie and Bailey," his eyes widened when I said Bailey's name.

"I think you can go but ask Mom and Dad first," he said. Yes!
