I'd been with Motionless In White since the previous October, it'd been almost a year. I was incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity, and was finally doing what I'd wanted to do my whole life. The other guys were slow to accept me at first, especially Balz, but we became friends for the most part. Chris was the first to openly accept me as a member and friend.
Collide With The Sky was a bit of a smaller band, like ours, and were very good. Some of their songs swung a bit more pop-punk than punk-rock or metal, but I think that's because Sylvia had such a wide fucking vocal range. She's like a feminine Brendon Urie and they had every right to do more than one genre.
And she's beautiful. Her hair was dyed a silvery-white, but her roots were growing out dark, so it looked like soot stained snow. She had a single piercing on the right side of her bottom lip and was slender and pale and beautiful. She dressed oddly for her shows. It seemed every concert she would change her look clothing wise. One show it would be steam-punk, the next a lacy dress, the one after black skinny jeans and a sweater. It was cool, and after wearing black to every single concert I understood why she wanted to change it up.
I enjoyed talking to her and she seemed like a genuinely good person to be around. Hopefully over the next few weeks, I thought, we'll become friends.

We'd been touring around the country for a few weeks and things continued to get colder and colder. We'd traveled up to Maine and were stopping back in PA for a few days before beginning the longest leg of the tour.
I was kind of excited, because it meant I got to see my family.

She wrapped her arms around me, hugging me close then lifting me up off the ground. Dani set me down and then Abby came over and gave me a hug. They're both in high school and their house wasn't too far from my apartment building so they were in charge of looking after Wally and Andy. After pulling away she informed me that Wally was going through separation anxiety and that apparently her boobs weren't a comfy enough pillow. I laughed as that information was closely followed by a lecture on how Wally needs to see a therapist for being a little pervert. I just hugged her again, having missed her humor. Dani and Abby were twins, the difference between them being that Dani had a few more piercings and had recently dyed her hair a dark russet color while Abby's remained a deep black.
One thing that we all had in common that had helped boost us in life would be YouTube. We all ran channels. They'd been doing it for about three years now, and all our channels did pretty well. Not Jenna Marbles or PewDiePie well, but enough to make a small income and give a platform to build off of. My own channel (only up for little over a year) helped my band to be discovered and without it we wouldn't have been where we were. My friend, Mena, also uploaded videos to YouTube on the occasion as she was trying to set off her music career. At the time I still ran my channel, but I didn't upload as often because I was so busy trying to start a career.
I had dinner with my family and then relaxed in the extra bedroom. The following morning I went to my house and visited my cats. Wally happily kneaded my boobs while laying atop me. Andy just looked happy that I was home. That afternoon I was laying on my couch eating ramen and watching tv. It was a sunny day, but I wanted to lay around and do nothing for a little while longer before being stuck in a bus for a while.
I took a few hours to film, edit and upload a video to my channel. It was called 'Weird Things Cats Do.' Time passed. I slept a lot. I didn't hear from my brother at all. I tried sending him an I'm in town do you want to acknowledge my existence? text, to which he responded "cool."
For my last day at home, I didn't do much of anything.
