---Sylvia---
We woke up to clumps of icy rain smacking against the roof and side of the house. I shifted in bed, my hand brushing across my sleeping partner. I opened my eyes and looked around to see the door cracked open and Dexter sleeping on the edge of the bed. Everything was quiet and the tv was marathoning silently in across from us.Sitting up, the cold air hit me and I burrowed back into the sheets, still trying to blink the sleep from my eyes. I ended up looking over at Ricky, who was still asleep in the mess of pillows and blankets. He was usually awake before me so it was kind of odd to see him sleep. I felt a rush of affection build up somewhere in my chest and I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He stirred a little bit, moaning and rolling over on his side before pulling the sheets farther over himself.
I smiled to myself a little bit before slipping from the bed and sneaking quietly to my room. I put on a long sweater and underwear before walking out to the kitchen where Dexter met me with a meow and rubbed against my legs. I petted him behind the ears and quietly wondered what to do for a moment.
I settled on laying on making a cup of hot chocolate and returning to Ricky's room. To avoid waking him I simply laid on my side and quietly scrolled through social media. At some point he woke up, rolling over and yawning as I turned to look at him and we made eye contact. I sat up as he rubbed his face.
"Morning." he murmured sleepily, "What's that?"
"Hot chocolate."
"Can I have some?" I handed the cup over and he sipped from it before handing it back and I placed it gently on the bedside table. "Why not coffee?"
"You have an addiction."
"Do not," he said and I laughed.
"How many cups of coffee have you had this week?" I asked and he yawned and shrugged, obviously not awake enough yet to play along with the usual teasing. Ricky moved over, placing his head on my lap and closing his eyes as I ran my fingers through his hair. "I have to work today."
"Stay home. Quit your job." he murmured. "Focus on YouTube. Or music. Your voice is good enough you could probably make it on your own anyway."
"I think I'm going to take a break from music. Focus more on animations and short films when I have the time."
"Then focus on animations and short films. I went to college for film so I can help. Just don't leave yet."
"Are you encouraging me to follow my dreams or trying to persuade me to stay home so we can lay around all day?"
"Both," he said and I leaned my head back against the bedframe, closing my eyes and procrastinating every choice laid out before me. Just the thought of spending the whole day with him in this bed was wonderful, especially compared to waiting on tables, but I needed the money. Especially if I was going to be helping rent out a house. Especially if it didn't work out and I was to remain homeless. After a few more minutes of quiet comfy bliss, I hauled my lazy ass out of the bed and proceeded to dress for work.

A week later, Ricky, Balz, Ryan Ashley and I stepped out of Balz's car and began walking up the pathway to the house. Ryan Ashley wasn't planning to live with us or anything, Josh just invited her along to look at it. I was happy to meet her, she was beyond gorgeous and wonderfully friendly and polite. She gave off a nice vibe and I could tell straight away that she was a nice person. Not to mention her eyes were gorgeous, tattoos stunning and she smelled fantastic. In all honesty, I can say that if she hadn't been dating my friend and I hadn't been in a relationship then I probably would've been very gay for her.
