Seungcheol and Jeonghan have been neighbors for years. The only problem? Jeonghan's house is fit for a king, while Seungcheol's house can barely support his family of four.

Though their parents are friends, Seungcheol despises the handsome boy for having everything handed to him on a silver platter and therefore never having to work. However, when his house is destroyed by termites, and Jeonghan's family offers to take him and his family in, Seungcheol finds himself questioning his feelings for the other boy.

Meanwhile, Jeonghan, who has harbored a small crush on his cold yet beautiful neighbor for years, is ecstatic to hear that Seungcheol and his family are going to be living with them for a few months, and he vows to find out why the older boy hates him so much.

A/N: yup, I've decided to write yet another story. this one came to me when I was dropping my best friend off at her parents' store and saw a large, flashy, ostentatious house next to a smaller, humble, quaint house. I thought, "Aw, how cute would it be if the children of those houses fell in love? They could run outside and play together in the connecting front yards!" and then I came up with this.

idk for some reason I feel like this is gonna be like "Playful Kiss" but I'll try to make sure it's not like that(I can tell you for sure that Seungcheol and Jeonghan's relationship will be better than Ha Ni and Seung Jo's was since theirs was just no like Ha Ni stop changing yourself for him jfc)
