"Good work today," Seungcheol told Jeonghan as he helped the younger boy pack up.

"Thanks," Jeonghan mumbled quietly.

"You tired?" Seungcheol asked. Jeonghan shrugged.

"Not really. This is still just kind of confusing for me, you know? I'm not used to things meaning anything other than what they literally say," Jeonghan replied. "My brain is frazzled. I don't think I can do any more studying for the rest of the day."

"Oh. Well, if you aren't gonna study when you get home anyways, do you want to join some of my friends and I? We were planning on going to the arcade," Seungcheol offered.

"That sounds fun! Sure. Who's coming?" Jeonghan questioned.

"Uh, not too many of us. Just Lee Jihoon, Wen Junhui, and myself, of course," Seungcheol answered.

"Oh, really? That is a small group. Would you mind if I invited a few of my friends too then? Only Chan and Soonyoung," Jeonghan requested.

"That's fine. Hey, you're friends with Xu Minghao too, right? Ask him to come too. Jun won't shut up about him," Seungcheol sighed. "It's so bad that he even forces us to go to the school library early in the morning just to see him. I don't mind because I love the library, but still."

"Sure!" Jeonghan smiled, and Seungcheol's heart skipped a beat.

"U-um, but you know, you can invite more of your friends. If you want to, that is," Seungcheol tripped over his words.

"Really? I'll invite Jisoo and Seokmin then. Seungkwan is at his job at the library, so I won't even bother inviting him," Jeonghan said before chuckling. "He surprising takes it seriously. I've never once seen him call in sick or anything."

"Ah, okay. Do you wanna head home first and drop off our stuff?" Seungcheol asked. Jeonghan nodded.

"I'll text my friends on the way," he told Seungcheol brightly.

"Alright," Seungcheol said.

Seungcheol smiled softly as he noticed the slight bounce that had appeared in Jeonghan's gait. Maybe he didn't have to keep so much of a distance from the other boy after all, Seungcheol thought as he felt his heart swell up with a strong fondness for Jeonghan.
