"Seungcheol, Ji-na, Seungpo, you're finally here! Please, have a seat," Jeonghan's mother said as Jeonghan entered the room with the three siblings.
Since Seungcheol's mother was sitting next to his parents, Jeonghan decided to sit on the larger couch, gesturing for the other three to join him. Seungpo sat down next to him and gave him a bright smile, one Jeonghan returned equally as enthusiastically.
However, Jeonghan's smile immediately turned into a frown once he noticed that Seungcheol had purposefully taken the seat farthest away from him and was leaning as far away from Jeonghan as he could. Seungcheol looked up and locked eyes with Jeonghan, causing Jeonghan to swallow nervously. The two boys continued to stare at each other, one with eyes full of curiosity and the other's with annoyance, until Seungcheol's mother decided to speak up.
"Again, thank you so much for letting us stay here. We're really grateful," Seungcheol's mother stated, giving Jeonghan's parents a beaming smile. Her kids echoed her and thanked Jeonghan's parents.
"Of course! You're welcome to stay here as long as you'd like! Besides, I've always wanted a son as handsome as your Seungcheol," Jeonghan's mother fondly complained, grinning mischievously at Jeonghan, who bashfully exclaimed, "Mom!"
"Thank you Mrs. Yoon," Seungcheol responded politely, speaking over Jeonghan. Jeonghan sighed. Why was Seungcheol always so rude to him?
"Well, since everyone's here, we should talk about the rooming situations, right? We've already told your mother which room she'll be staying in, and we put your bags in your rooms," Jeonghan's father stated. "Shall I tell you the rooming situations then?"
"Wait a minute! Wouldn't it be fun for the kids to have to find their rooms? We can even make it a competition! The winner can get an extra scoop of ice cream after dinner or something! In-hye, what do you think?" Jeonghan's mother interrupted, turning to Seungcheol's mother with a smile. Seungcheol's mother nodded.
"That sounds good! Alright then kids, ready...go!" Seungcheol's mother exclaimed. The two younger siblings jumped up and ran out of the room.
"Right now?!" Seungcheol asked in bewilderment. Seungcheol's mother grinned mischeviously at Seungcheol, whose eyes widened in realization. He quickly ran after his siblings who had already started frantically searching.
"Um, I'll go help Seungcheol, if I may?" Jeonghan quietly requested.
"Why are you so eager to help your boyfriend? Did he say he'd reward you if you did?" Jeonghan's mother replied, her eyebrows raised suggestively.
"Mom!"
"Go ahead then. Maybe if you're lucky, Seungcheol will even feed you some of his ice cream if he wins," Jeonghan's mother said, smirking at her son teasingly. Jeonghan glared at his mom for a few seconds, then chased after Seungcheol.

"Boyfriend? What was that all about?"
"Oh, our son has had a crush on yours for a few years now actually! It's pretty cute! We like to tease Jeonghan about it a lot."
"Is that so? Now that I think about it, Jeonghan would be a really good match for our Seungcheol. Seungcheol needs someone like that. Say, why don't we help them out a little bit?"
"...go on..."
"Maybe we can push them towards each other a little more..."
"I like it. Let's do it! Good thing that they'll be sharing a room together, huh? Who knows what could happen when two hormonal teenage boys stay in a room together?"
"Right, especially if one has feelings for the other, and they're both gay. By the end of these few months, Jeonghan and Seungcheol will be head over heels for one another!"
"Alright!"
"I can't wait until we become sisters-in-law!"
"Me too, me too! Our sons are going to be so cute together!"
"...are all moms annoying matchmakers, or is it just you two? Ow, don't hit me so hard!"
