"I can't believe it. I've been giving Seungcheol the most obvious hints for a week now, and he still hasn't realized anything. He's driving me crazy," Jeonghan moaned.
"Sucks for you." Jisoo shrugged and took a sip of his coffee. "It's your fault for liking such an idiot."
"Hm, you're right. Maybe we should just date instead," Jeonghan suggested. Jisoo rolled his eyes.
"In your dreams, you boor. Besides, I got over you a long time ago. You wish you could date someone as attractive as me," Jisoo retorted.
"You're right, I do." Jeonghan winked. "But anyways, did you just call me a boor? How old are you? Should I call you Grandpa now?"
"Shut up," Jisoo grumbled, tossing his empty coffee cup into the trash can and stuffing his hands in the pockets of his jacket broodingly.
"Grandpa, is there anything you can tell me about the First World War? You were still alive then, right?" Jeonghan joked.
"I thought we were talking about your unsuccessful love life?" Jisoo responded.
"Low blow, Jisoo." Jeonghan pouted. Jisoo sighed.
"Sorry. But come on, everyone knows how oblivious that guy is when it comes to real-life romance! He didn't even know that the gym teacher and the nurse were dating until he caught them making out in the nurse's office!" Jisoo said.
"Did he really?" Jeonghan grinned.
"Yeah, when he went in, it was pretty much empty, so that must've been why they were kissing. Surprisingly, the nurse was more embarrassed than Seungcheol was. After walking in on them, Seungcheol just silently got himself a bag of ice and left," Jisoo replied.
"I hate him," Jeonghan declared.
"Whom do you hate?" Seokmin interrupted, bounding up to the pair.
"You, obviously," Jisoo responded.
"Rude!" Seokmin huffed. "But actually?"
"We were talking about Seungcheol," Jisoo answered.
"What happened?" Seokmin asked.
"He won't pick up on my hints," Jeonghan sighed.
"So just tell him directly? I don't see what the problem is," Seokmin said.
"What if he doesn't like me back though?" Jeonghan frowned. "We've only been friends for a few months anyways. And he used to hate me, remember?"
"Aren't you giving him the hints because you think he likes you?" Seokmin asked.
"Well yeah, but..." Jeonghan trailed off.
"Just keep pushing him until he snaps," Jisoo suggested. "That way, you don't have to tell him directly, and he'll make the first move."
"Good idea! Thanks, Jisoo-ah!" Jeonghan beamed.
"Yeah, whatever," Jisoo replied.
"Oh, there's Jihoon-hyung! Jihoon-hyung!" Seokmin shouted, running off towards their shorter friend.
"You know, you should really take your own advice though." Jeonghan nudged Jisoo.
"Shut up." Jisoo scowled, his face reddening.
