Ezra's decent into the darkness

After All That...

------Ezra's POV------ 

Kanan and I walk out of the ghost Hera run up and gives Kanan a hug and I just look at Rex, his sadness was plain for all to see. He lost the little girl that he knew as a youngling he saw when she first met her master he had seen her grow and now...now shes gone.

I ran to my room Sabine tried to stop me but I ran straight past. Was I selfish run away from everyone look at it now I really don't know but all I could think about was how my Jedi training would go on now that Kanan was BLIND! How could he help the rebellion never allow train me it was hopeless and I knew it. I could feel the anger inside, the sadness and the helplessness. So I tried to meditate thinking it would help but all it did was make me realize. Realize what was gonna happen in my future. 

------Kanan's POV------

I hug Hera and informed the rest of the crew what happened about Darth Maul, Vader and Ahsoka's death. As I did I started to feel a coldness in the air slightly at first I thought it was nothing. However, it grew and grew until I could tell where it was coming from. EZRA'S ROOM!

"Hera we need to go into Ezra's room NOW," I shout!

"What, why Kanan everything okay he is safe he's in his room" Hera says calmly. 

"Hera NOW!" 

We run to his door Hera helping me all the way. We try to open it but it won't budge its stuck. Zeb bangs on the door as hard as he could but it doesn't work. Chopper tried to hack it open, but he must have broken it because it doesn't budge.  

"Kid are you in there," I shout trying to work out what happened.

  ------Ezra's POV------ 

As I open the holocron a mass of red light flowed out of it. Then the door short circuited. I catch the holocron as it closes. Then I hear running and Kanan's worried voice did he know I opened was he mad at me or did he just feel the cold. I hear a bang on the door followed by two more it was Zeb most likely with everyone else. I hide the holocron as fast as I could. Putting it under my mattress hoping they wouldn't look around the room for it.   

"Kid are you in there," I hear Kanan say. 

"Ye, I think the door short circuited I can't get out" I shout I hate lying to my master but I had to I couldn't let him know. He would loss hope and I cant let him do that. 

"use the force to open it ill help you," Kanan explains. 

"okay.."   

Kanan and I pull the doors open and the whole crew rush in. I knew why they were here but I couldn't let on so I act as good as I can giving them a confused look Kanan looks at me. 

"Ezra, you need to tell me what you were doing in here before we came in," he sounded stern with a harsh undertone.  

"I was meditating you know what you told me to do when I'm upset," I had to calm down Kanan he couldn't suspect me. 

"We are searching your room Ezra," Kanan looked like he knew exactly what was going on.

"WHAT WHY?" 

"BECAUSE... HERA TAKE HIM OUTSIDE WHILE WE DO THIS." Kanan shouts. 

"but..." 

"NOW!"
