Chapter 19

Yeah I found someone,
Who can make me shine so bright,
Till I'm right isn't right it's so high,
And it feels like I'm starting to love again
.

"And you're sure it's okay I hang with Marcel?"

"Yes, Marco. For the seven million times, go!" I laughed, sending him a smile.

Marco giggled, before he kissed my bare neck.

"And you're sure you don't want to come?"

"Yeah, I think I'll skip the burping, fifa playing and girls talking, thanks" I laughed, making him laugh too.

"Oh I don't talk about any other girls but you"

"And we both know that's a lie" I laughed, rolling my eyes.

Marco smirked at me, before he pulled me into a hug.

"Well, you're the only girl I'm thinking about" he whispered, almost letting his warm lips touch my ear.

It gave my entire body chills. I closed my eyes, feeling Marco's arms around me. He smelled nice today, well he always do, but today it was just better. It made me want him, like right now, but Marcel would be over to pick up Marco in just a few minutes, so I knew I couldn't, though I deeply wanted too. Marco laid his head on my shoulder, so I kissed the top of his hair. I couldn't help, but let out a small smile. I let my head rest on the top of his, before taking a deep breath.

As we sat here in silence, I couldn't help but think, how my life would have been, if I hadn't gone to that club, if I hadn't let out all the little white lies. I'd probably never had met Marco, he would never have been mine. It's weird, something that bad turned out this good.

Marco looked up at me and tilted his head, searching in my eyes.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, licking his pink lips.

I shrugged, not taking my eyes away from his gaze.

"I just... If we hadn't met each other that night, we wouldn't be here right now"

"I guess so. Why are you thinking about that?"

"Remember you asked me, if I could go back and change anything, if I would do it or not?" I asked, and Marco nodded.

"Well...If I hadn't lied to you, we wouldn't be here right now. It's just... weird" I shrugged.

It didn't really make any sense. A little laugh crossed Marco's lips, as he shook his head.

"It doesn't matter how we got here, it only matters that we're here together" Marco smiled, and I nodded.

"I love you, you know that right?" Marco asked, taking my hand.

I gave him a short smile, before nodding.

"Yeah" I mumbled.

Marco placed his warm hand on my cheek, forcing me to look at him.

"Always" he said, but it was almost a whisperer.

"I know" I said, giving him a short kiss.

"You'll be okay by yourself?" Marco asked, as the doorbell rang.

He yelled at Marcel to just get in. I could hear him open the door, stepping in.

"Sure" I smiled, as I got up.

We walked out to meet Marcel, who was standing in the kitchen, with his face in Marco's fridge. It made me laugh, which made Marcel turn around.

"Sorry, I was hungry" he mumbled, while eating something.
