Emely
I ran my hands through my now black and blue hair before stepping out the car. The pink was just a temporary color for graduation, so now Im on to the next.
Today, I was just touring the campus of where Im going to school in the fall. I was happy that I wouldn't have class everyday because that drive was going to be a bitch on my car. One thing I hated about living in Corona was how far away certain shit is. Los Angeles as a whole is just too damn big.
Where my college is located, Im more than familiar with the area. Long Beach. My dad's from here. When him and my mom broke up, I would spend weekends with him out here, before he just decided to be a dead beat dad. He was born and raised in Eastside Long Beach, where all the crips be. Its weird how he grew up around crips, and my mom grew up around bloods, yet they ended up together.
This campus was huge. It wasn't bad looking either. The buildings and interior were really nice. The housing looked good too, but I was perfectly fine with staying back home in Corona. Some of the kids here looked lame, and I even saw a few kids from school sadly. But I didn't come here to socialize with them. Im just trying to get my bachelors then bounce.
After talking to a few people in the offices and walking the whole campus, I was ready to leave. I got familiar with a couple places here so I won't be confused when August and September roll around. It was 1 in the afternoon, and I wouldn't be back in Corona until about 2:30. I took my phone out the pocket of my grey, skinny sweatpants and went straight to my messages. My girls were loving it at their schools in Florida. I was about to send a message to the group chat before I heard loud laughter coming from the parking lot.
I rolled my eyes and continued to send my message. I locked my phone and walked over to my Lexus ES 350. I raised an eyebrow as I saw a Benz truck parked next to it, with about 5 niggas standing there. I silently cursed under my breath and made my way over to the guys.
"Um, is there a reason why y'all niggas congregated around my car?" I pushed my phone in my pocket and folded my arms across my chest. I watched as they all chuckled and sized me. I looked down at my belly piercing and sucked my teeth. They acted as if I was out here naked.
"Um, is there a reason why your hair is blue?" His boys laughed, as if anything was funny. So he was mimicking me, and? These dudes were so damn childish.
I licked my lips and let out a light laugh. I got a good look at his face. He was actually cute, but he's rude as hell. He looked familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Got his niggas leaning by my damn car.
"Maybe I was inspired from your blue balls. I know you don't get no pussy."
I smirked as his facial expression changed. If him and his niggas thought they scared me, they were wrong. All his friends now looked at me, with upset looks on their faces. That shit didn't phase me. He wore a smirk that matched mine, and nodded his head.
