*6 Months Later*

                          
I wake up to a bright light, and murmers all around. 

                          
"He's awake." 

                          
"Call his Father. Now." 

                          
"Hello?" I ask. I open my eyes fully, revealing I'm in some sort of pab, in what appears to be a hospital bed. At the foot of the bed, is, to my shock, Dr. Harrison Wells, in a motorized wheelchair.

                          
"Mr.Rapids." He says to me. "Are you okay?"

                          
I don't say anything, I just stare at him. 

                          
"What happened?" I ask, finally mustering the confidence to speak. 

                          
"You were struck by lightning." Says a man rushing around this lab behind Wells.

                          
"Thank you Cisco. Now, please Christopher, answer me. Are you okay?" 

                          
I rub the back of my head as I tend to do when I'm nervous. "I feel fine. Really I do."

                          
I try to stand up, but Wells looks at me, and I stay put. 

                          
"Just relax. My team will take good care of you." Harrison says as he turns and leaves the room. 

                          
"How long was I out for?" I ask Cisco.

                          
"About six months." A woman off to my right says. " Vitals are stable."

                          
The 'team' gets busy with other things, and I sit there for about twenty minutes before I ask something I regret.

                          
"So, is anybody going to fill me in on what happened, and why Dr.Wells is in a wheelchair?" 

                          
Every motion stops.

                          
The two look at each other, and with a brief pause, Cisco begins. 

                          
"It all started the night of Wells' particle accelerator launch. You see, things didn't go as planned. The accelerator, it, it exploded." He pauses to glance at the woman who signals for him to continue. "The blast killed several people, and injured many, including Dr. Wells himself. It created a storm, who's lightning struck two people. You and Barry Allen."
