Aria's POV

We were back at the house now, Derek said it was safe, for the past couple of night we'd stayed in a little hotel. But we were back.

I was in my room doing some work for school when I heard a knock at my door.

"Yep!" I said, giving permission for someone to come in.

Derek gently pushed the door open and sat on my bed. I finished my sentence and spun around in my chair to face him. "You alright?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm training Scott tonight and I wondered if you wanted to come along. See how good he is?" He asked.

I nodded. I loved Derek that little bit more when we was in these moods. He'd take me out with him so I could watch and learn things he did.

"Come on then." He said and we both left my room and walked down the stairs. Quickly I pulled on my boots and jacket and made my way outside to get in the car.

It took me a while but then I realised where we were going. "Why are you heading for the parking lot?" I asked, slightly confused.

"Because Scott is here. He isn't expecting me." Derek replied with a slight smile. "I'm going to drop you off here and I want you to wait. He should run round to here but if you see him, do what he tells you to, okay?"

I nodded again and waited. After about 5 minutes I heard loads of car alarm go off and I saw Scoff running around the corner.

When he saw me he looked panicked.

"Aria! What are got doing here! Hide quickly!" He whisper yelled at me. And I did so.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"The Alpha, I think he's here. He was chasing me. Why are you here?" He asked me with a pained expression.

"Groceries!" I whisper yelled back.

Then his phone began to go off, very loudly as well. I stared at him giving him a look telling him to hurry and turn it off.

Then Derek climbed onto the bonnet of the car we were hiding behind, picked Scott up and slammed him on the car.

"You're dead!" He boomed.

I couldn't help but laugh. Scott looked terrified. When he saw me laughing he glared at me. Which made the situation a whole lot funnier.

He got up and Derek and me began walking when we were stopped by Scott, he had an angry look on his face.

"Wait! What the hell was that!" He yelled feebly pushing Derek's shoulder.

"I said I was gonna teach you. I didn't say when." Derek replied smartly.

"You scared the crap out of me!" He shouted, his voice echoing around the car lot. I was walking next to Derek. My shoulder brushing against his bicep. He was very tall.

"Not yet." Derek sassed, calmly.

"O-okay but I was fast right?" Scott said asking for praise.

"Not fast enough." Derek responded.

"But the car alarm thing that was smart right?" Scott said, his voice lowering.

"Until your phone went off." Derek continued.

"Yeah but that was... I mean... Would you just stop! Please! What happened the other night, Stiles' dad getting hurt? That was my fault! I should've been there to do something! I need you to teach me how to control this!" Scott cried desperately.
