Aria's POV

I woke up. But my vision was blurry. Almost as if I couldn't grasp myself. The voice sounded like it was under water. Thick and unrecognisable. I didn't understand.

"Hey! Come on Aria! You can do it." Derek's voice slowly became more audible. "Ria? Come on... Tell me you're okay."

I breathed out deeply. "I... I'm okay." I whispered.

"Oh thank god." Derek breathed.

"What happened?" I asked, starting to regain myself.

"The walls of this place bounce sound. My roar was too much for human ears." Derek sighed apologetically.

I looked around. Kate was no where to be seen. That was good. However I looked down and could see the dried blood which had come from my ears when Derek howled. My body was still covered in bruises and cuts.

"Has she...?"

"No, she hasn't come back. You weren't out for that long, don't worry. I'll get you out of here." Derek promised.

I couldn't help but smile, my mind wondered to Stiles. Was he looking for me? He was worried when Peter dragged me along with my brother. Maybe he-

No.

Nope. Uh uh. I'm not about to fall for some dorky boy. Not happening...

Right?

"Aria. How desperate are you to get out of here?" Derek interrupted my thoughts.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Scott just howled, he was trying to reach me. The only way I can let him know where we are is by howling, again." Derek clarified.

"Do it. Just go now." I replied.

I squeezed my arms against my head in hopes to block out some of the noise. Waiting, Derek breathed in and let out a long howl. I squeezed my eyes closed whilst the sound began to attack my ears, blood could be felt again on my arms.

I knew that everything was going each again. But then it stopped.

"Ria?" Derek sounded.

"I'm good." I lied.

"Now, we wait." Derek finished.

We waited, and waited. Derek's breathing grew steady, as did mine. I fell asleep, but I wasn't sure for how long. I knew I slipped into a deep sleep though. We were both exhausted. Then the light switched on.

"Ready to have some more fun?" The bald man mocked. "To be honest, my knuckles are kinda hurting. So I brought some help." There, in his hands was a baseball bat. A wooden bat. You've got to be kidding me.

"I need to warn you. I used to play in collage." With that, he swung the bat, full force at Derek. I closed my eyes, then I heard the noise of someone catching the bat. Opening my eyes I saw Derek had it in his hand.

"I brought a little help too." Derek spat. The man looked behind him immediately.

As he was distracted by Scott standing in the hallway, Derek punched him, knocking him out cold.

Scott slowly walked forward and Derek ripped the wires that had been taped on his side off. "Scott, help me with this." He demanded.

"No." Scott replied.

"What?" Derek questioned.
