Arias POV

I was sat outside the councillors office waiting for Stiles. He was in there and I could hear the quiet murmur of his voice through the walls.

Matt was dead. He drowned, like he almost did when he was younger. That's why Stiles now needed counselling, or so other people thought.

Everything seemed different now, much more tense between everyone. Whether that's because of the hostage situation or Matt dying. I don't know.

When he was found dead there were pictures of Matt and me which he had photoshopped himself into, kissing me and holding my hand. Stiles got severely annoyed at it when he saw it.

I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes, images of what happened at the station crossed my mind and haunted me in a way I couldn't describe. It didn't really effect me in a bad way, but it still effected me.

Not long after he came out of the room and gave me a small sort of smile.

"Let's go." He stated grabbing my hand, he'd become a little more overprotective, a lot like Derek. He saw the photos Matt took as well. I was getting constant messages from my brother asking me if I was okay. Soon I was going to start ignoring the messages, I can take care of myself.

We got into his car and he dropped me off at the underground station where Derek was. I needed to go and see him because he told me that Erica and Boyd want to leave his pack because of the threat of Gerard. Since now he controls the Kanima.

I watched as the rickety blue jeep sped off leaving me and I made my way down into the station. Derek was searching through books and looked very stressed.

"Hey." I spoke, causing him to look up from his book and make eye contact.

"You okay?" He asked me. I nodded, with a sigh.

I turned around when I saw the two other werewolves which were part of Dereks pack. "You decided." He spoke, not facing them. "When?"

"Tonight." Erica replied. They were leaving his pack. "Everyone's gonna be at the game, we figured it was the best time." Boyd replied.

"It's not like we want to." Erica said, regret in her voice.

"What do you want?" Derek asked stepping forward. Erica made eye contact with me and offered me a small smile which I returned.

"Since I just turned 16 I wouldn't mind getting my drivers license. I can't do that if I'm dead you know." She muttered.

"He told you there was a price." I butted in standing next to my brother, not liking the fact he was going to be alone when they left.

"He didn't say it would be like this." Boyd responded. "Yeah, but I told you how to survive. You do it as a pack, and you're not a pack without an alpha."

"We know." Boyd replied, confidently.

I then caught on to what they had planned. "You wanna look for another pack?" I questioned. Were they mad?

"How are you even gonna find one?" Derek asked them, getting annoyed.

"We think we already did."

My heart stopped. What? If there's another pack that means another Alpha on Dereks territory, that means a possible fight. No way is there another pack so close to Beacon Hills. It's near impossible.

"Like all of a sudden we heard all this howling. It was unbelievable." Erica explained, her eyes lighting up as she spoke about it.

"There must of been a dozen of them."
"Maybe more."
