Frenemy

Aria's POV

Jackson's the Kanima.

I followed Derek as he took off after the Kanima. I pulled out my hand gun and ran, fast enough to keep Derek well in my sight, but not fast enough to run beside him.

He jumped over the fence and I managed to follow. We both heard the hiss of the Kanima. Derek was wolfed out and he waited for me to catch up.

"What are you doing here?" He snapped.

"What does it look like?" I snapped back.

"You're going to get yourself hurt." He stated.

"That's my problem." I retorted and ran after the Kanima before Derek could object. We both came to a tunnel with a train running on the top of it, but it couldn't be seen.

However.

It's hiss could be heard from behind us. Like lightening we both spun around, Derek growled at the monster whilst I released the safety off my gun and readied myself for what was about to come.

It charged at us and Derek leapt towards it as the creature picked him up and slammed him against the stone. I took this opportunity to run up behind it, securing myself on its back as I pulled out a knife. Jackson went stumbling backwards as I sunk my knife near his collar bones causing it to roar loudly in pain. He kept backing up and ended up squashing me between a stone wall and himself. However I held on.

Repeatedly it kept smashing itself into the wall to get me off, over and over again I felt the air leave my body, I had to let go.

I fell to the floor and took a moment, Derek began fighting it but it dodged many punches, but it didn't stop him. His eyes were red and he was angry as hell. Derek threw a punch, missing the Kanima by inches but punching a chunk of stone off the wall in the process. The Kanima threw Derek back and he slid on to his stomach and picked up a car door and defended himself.

Acting quickly I came up beside it and punched it in the face. As hard as I could. Luckily it stumbled a bit allowing me and Derek to think. Derek pushed the door forward and floored the creature then it quickly got up and climbed one of the stone beams. Following that an explosion of sparks came from where it was taking refuge. It quickly jumped down and pushed Derek, a car screeched to a halt and I saw Chris Argent open fire. Pulling out my gun, I did the same. Not long after that the thing fell hopelessly to the floor and luckily, Derek was no where to be seen.

"How did you know?" I asked Chris as he walked forward with caution, like he was looking for Derek.

From behind me I see a shadow and as me and Chris both turn around, I shoot my gun but Chris is out of ammo, it pushes him back with a great force and then does the same to me. I end up next to Chris, I could feel blood running down the side of my face. I looked up into the car headlights which had clouded my vision and I could see silhouette of someone getting out of the car.

To my utter horror the Kanima was face to face with it but it didn't look as if he was going to hurt the person. Luckily, Scott intervened and I could see that it was Gerard who was there.

Scott took off and I decided it would be best if I did to. I stood up, despite the dizziness and followed, the last thing I want is to be caught up with a load of hunters.

"Scott!" I shouted, "wait!" He turned around and saw me there.

"It went this way." He told me and we both peered around the corner and I felt like someone was standing in front of me. So I quickly looked and Stiles was there, nearly making me jump out of my skin.
