Arias POV
I was with Stiles. Again. Scott and Derek were okay, thank good for Deaton.
I knew that Derek and Scott were at Derek's hideout trying to figure out a plan, annoyingly, which didn't involve me or anyone else. Although I knew that Derek wouldn't tell him everything. My phone dinged in my pocket and I got a message from Matt. Shit, I left him at the rave.
Matt: Where did you go?
Me: I'm so sorry, something happened with my brother.
Matt: Can you meet me at the diner, just 5 minutes.I sighed, knowing I owed him that much.
"Stiles? I'll be back in an hour." I told him as I grabbed my coat and started walking out the door.
"What? Wait! Where are you going at this time? Is something wrong?" Stiles' voice was laced with concern and I looked at him with a smile. It was nice to know he cared, a little like how Derek used to. All went downhill between me and him since coming back to Beacon Hills. I knew it was a bad idea. All the memories of our family and especially Peter flooded both of our nightmares which we'd managed to bury deep inside. Coming back? Well it dug everything back up again.
"Matt asked me to meet him." I told Stiles, "I owe the guy that much seeing as I left him standing at that rave for god knows how long." Pulling on my coat, Stiles looked deep I'm thought and sadly, exhausted. "Hey, you okay?" I asked him, remembering my mental note to ask him what was wrong earlier when he was rather quiet. "Hmm?" He responded ask broke him out of his trance. "Oh, yeah sorry I'm okay. I'll wait up for you."
"You don't need to, but when I get back we need to talk. I know something's bothering you." Opening the door, Stiles grabbed my hand which caused me to spin around. He kissed me gently before letting go and holding the door open. Waving me off, the door closed, taking most of the light and warmth with it. Looking at the sky, I pulled my jacket closer and set off. Luckily Stiles didn't live to far away from the diner where Matt wanted to meet.
"Hey!" I waved when I saw a tired Matt. "I'm honestly so sorry." He looked me up and down before gesturing to a seat in a booth. Politely I sat down and waited as Matt slid in after I did.
"Problems with your brother?" Matt questioned, resting his head on his hands almost in an accusing manner.
"Exactly that. I'm really sorry Matt. Honestly I got so caught up in everything." I replied.
"It's okay Aria. Don't worry about it. At least I still get to say I went on a date with the most beautiful girl in school." He laughed. Also laughing nervously, I couldn't help but relish at the thought of the rave being a date. With Matt. Something just didn't sit right about that.
"Matt... You know me and Stiles are kind of a thing right?" I answer, awkwardly.
"Oh...yeah, yeah , yeah. Don't worry I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, not like I did the last time we briefly met. I have no idea what came over me then." Matt replied, but I could see the disappointment written on his face. Abruptly, he stood up, "Well, I'd better go."
"Matt..." I muttered knowing why he decided to leave.
But he left rather quickly so I thought it would be best to just leave him. He'll be okay by Monday and he has my number if anything happens and he needs me. Thinking about it, I never actually gave him my number... Or did I?
I looked left and saw the Matts camera was still here. He must of walked away without realising he'd left it. Deciding to have a look and see how good he was I turned it on. I flicked through the pictures and saw loads of the team... but then one of me popped up. Then another, and another. Soon all his storage was full of images of me. But it got weirder. There was even pictures of me in Stiles' house, when I was alone on his sofa, and some when I was in his bedroom.
