Zoey's pov (one month later)
"Ready to go, Zoey?" Andrew asks, interrupting me from my thoughts.
I lower my phone screen and nod, "Yeah, let's go." The two of us walk out to the car, where my brothers were waiting.
"So you finally caved in and found out the gender?" Calum asks, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Yep," I reply. After two months of being able to find out the gender of my baby, I finally cracked and asked to know at my doctor appointment yesterday. I was excited about it too.
"You should tell us," Ashton urges.
I roll my eyes, "I should now, should I?"
"Come on, Zoey! We need to know if it's going to be a girl named Michael or a boy named Michael," Mikey protests.
"I am not naming my child Michael. Sorry, Mikey," I apologize, shrugging.
"Well, you're no fun," he complains, crossing his arms over his chest, before he turns his head to the other side, shunning me.
"Can we at least know the first name?" Luke whines.
"No, 'cause then you'll know whether the baby is a boy or a girl," I say.
"So what?" He questions. I raise my eyebrows at him.
"Fine. Can we know the middle name?" Calum asks. I huff and roll my eyes while shaking my head no. I glance over at Andrew, who was smiling and trying not to laugh.
"At least tell us the last name," Michael tells me.
"It's obviously going to be Peyton's last name. Duh," Luke says to Michael.
"Yeah. Wait. What is Peyton's last name?" Ashton questions.
"He never told me. But it doesn't matter. He doesn't even use his last name. Just his first and middle. So for the baby's last name, we agreed on Irwin," I explain.
Ashton pumps his fists, "Yes! Another Irwin in the family!"
"It's last name should be Clifford," Michael tells me, "Michael Clifford. I like the sound of that. It has a nice ring to it, right?"
"You're impossible, Michael," I say laughing. He grins and wrap his a around my shoulders, pulling me into a side hug.
"Are you performing Good Life today?" Luke questions after a moment of quiet.
I bite my lip, unable to keep the mischievous smile off of my face, "I'm supposed to be."
The boys all grin, "What song are you doing?"
"Something that I wrote a few months ago. That will hopefully get me fired," I reply.
"Fired? But you're under a contract," Calum says, confused.
"Yes, so I can't quit. But, if I pissed off Jenn enough, which this song will most likely do, then she can fire me and the contract becomes dead!" I exclaim, excited.
"That's awesome, Zoey! Is there anything we can do to help at all?" Ashton asks me.
I nod, "All that I need you five to do, is to keep Jenn off of the stage after I start the song. She'll try anything to get me to stop it."
"Got it. You can count on us," Michael assures me. I grin as we pull us to the studio where the talk show I was son today is filmed. It's go time.
Hey guys. So, I'm curious. What do you guys think the baby will be? Girl or boy? I already know and have a name picked out, but I want to see what you guys think it'll be.
