Zoey's pov

"Baby. Zoey. Zoey, you need to wake up," a soft voice whispers, gently shaking my body back and forth.

I groan, "Go away. I want to sleep."

"Come on, Zoey. I need you to wake up. We have somewhere to be," it whispers again.

I open my eyes and see Peyton standing in front of me. I blink a few times, clearing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Why do I have to get up now? Is Connor okay?" I question, sitting up slowly.

"Connor's fine. But you need to get up and get changed into this shirt, put on a pair of shoes, then meet me down stairs. Stay in your pajamas pants though. We're leaving to go somewhere in a few minutes. I've got Connor," Peyton instructs. I nod, sleepily.

My boyfriend grins and presses his lips against mine before he turns, grabs Connor from his crib, then goes downstairs.

I sigh and grab the piece of clothing that Peyton left for me, then walk into my bathroom to get changed.

"Where on earth are we going in our pajamas?" I ask, taking Connor from Peyton's arms.

"Somewhere. Now let's go," Peyton replies, grabbing my spare hand, pulling me outside.

                              ~

"You remembered?" I ask, a smile forming on my lips.

"Of course," he replies, grabbing my hand and squeezing it tightly.

I grin and climb out of the car, excited.

"Welcome to IHOP. How many?" The hostess asks, smiling at the three of us.

"Three," Peyton replies, adjusting Connor in his arms.

"Right this way," she says, leading us to a table. We follow her.

"Here you go, babe. A breakfast date in our pajamas," Peyton says, grinning. He reaches under the table and grabs hand.

"I can't believe that you remembered it. I thought with your head getting smacked around in that car accident, you would forget," I admit.

"Trust me babe, I wasn't forgetting. I know how much that meant to you. I know that you missed being able to go on dates together. I'm sorry that you got stuck with Travis," Peyton apologizes while we wait for our pancakes.

"Travis actually turned out to not be that bad. He was only so clingy and everything because Jenn was threatening to hurt his girlfriend. Just like she was threatening to hurt you," I explain, taking Connor's fingers out of his mouth.

"Travis has a girlfriend? I did not see that coming. But I'm glad that I don't have to compete with him for your attention anymore," Peyton whispers, leaning his forehead against mine.

I grin, "There never was any competition."

Peyton grins and pulls me closer to him, kissing me hard.

"I love you so damn much, Zoey Noel," Peyton mutters, holding me close to him.

"I love you too, Peyton Dylan," I reply before reconnecting our lips.
