Zoey's pov

"Do you guys want to come to Peyton's apartment with me?" I ask my brothers.

"Yeah! Wait, do you even know where it is?" Luke asks me.

I nod sheepishly, "Yeah. Even when it was completely illegal, I would sneak out and go see him."

"Why ? That was so crazy and stupid!" Ashton yells, shocked. I shrug.

"You guys didn't know?" Mikey asks, lowering his phone.

"No. You did?" Calum questions. Michael nods.

"How?" I ask, confused. I never told him.

"Zoey, your room is beside mine. I hear you climbing in and out of your window. And besides, I know you and I know that you can't stay away from Peyton," Michael explains as we walk out to the car.

"I'm impressed," I state.

"I'm absolutely shocked that you were stupid enough to climb out of a window while you are six months pregnant," Luke mutters. I grin.

The first five minutes of our car ride were taken up by the five of us arguing about what music we were going to listen to. Eventually though, all of the boys surrendered and let me listen to The Vamps.

We had just finished I Found a Girl when we pulled up to Peyton's apartment complex. A sinking feeling appears in my gut. I don't know why though. I shrug and shake my head, trying to get rid of the feeling. The boys and I go inside the building.

The front desk was unoccupied, so I just led them straight over to the elevator. I hit the seven button, Peyton floor. We wait in silence as the elevator goes up.

"Which number is his?" Luke asks, glancing around at all of the apartments.

"415," I answer, making my way down the hallway. The boys take off running, trying to beat me there since I can't run. I frown and walk a little faster.

Once I finally reach the door, the boys were all lounging on the floor around the door, looking bored.

"Why didn't you idiots just knock?" I ask, stepping over one of Ashton's long legs.

"We did, but there was no answer," Luke mutters, sitting up. I roll my eyes and pull my key out of my bag and unlock the door.

"Peyton!" I call, pushing the door open. It creaks eerily in the dark room. I frown and reach over, turning on the light switch. Light floods into the apartment, illuminating everything. I walk farther inside. I was vaguely aware of Michael, Ashton, Luke, and Calum following behind me.

"Peyton! Hello?" I call again, walking into his bed room. He wasn't in there. But his favorite sweatshirt was. I grab it and put it over my head. Then I turn, ready to search the rest of the house.

After searching the guest room, kitchen, and living room with no luck, I turn to search the closets and bathrooms. Still nothing.

Something just wasn't right. It didn't make sense.

Peyton was missing.
