Zoey's pov

"Come here, Connor," I say, picking up the crying baby. He continues to cry as I rock him back and forth.

"Please stop crying, baby," I whisper, kissing his forehead.

I start to sing Stuck on You, the song Peyton wrote for me. Connor's cries fade away. His green eyes close and he starts to softly snore again, his fingers curled into little fists.

I sigh realizing that I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep since the sun was already rising and streaming through my windows.

I sit down on my bed, still cradling Connor in my arms.

"You miss daddy too, don't you?" I ask the sleeping baby, "He loved you so much. And now, you'll never really get to see how amazing he is. Because mommy was too wounded to realize what she was doing. And because your uncles hired a psychotic-grudge-holding manager who really knows how to get revenge on someone." I gently brush the dark hair out of his face.

"And now, Aunt Charlotte is confusing mommy. I can't decide if she's telling the truth or not. Her baby may or may not have a father. Truthfully, I hope she and Jace get back together," I ramble.

I laugh to myself, "For once, your uncles are the normal ones in the family."

"What are you doing up this early?" Ashton's voice asks from my doorway.

"You are so lucky that I didn't throw or drop Connor. Don't you know better than to startle someone when they are holding a baby?" I scold as he walks over to my bed. He sits down beside me.

"Sorry. But you wouldn't have dropped Connor. I know you. Now, why on earth are you up this early? You have to be tired. Especially if you're saying that me, Cal, Mikey, and Luke are normal," Ashton laughs, staring at Connor lovingly.

"He woke me up crying and by the time I got him back to sleep, sunlight was already coming in here. So I gave up. And sometimes, I think better if I tall out loud. So, I was telling all of my problems to Connor," I explain.

"And what did he tell you?" Ashton questions.

"Nothing," I reply, confused.

"Good. Then you aren't so tired that you're hallucinating," he says. I start to laugh really hard. I was that tired.

"Take Connor," I gasp out between my laughs. Ashton grins and takes the baby from my arms.

"So why do you think that us four are the normal ones?" Ashton questions after I calmed down.

"Well, Jace talked to me at the funeral. What he said and what Charlotte told us doesn't match up. He does actually care about her. He didn't just want the money. Charlotte made it seem like he only wanted money," I start.

Ash nods, "I know. She was telling us the other day."

"I guess Bryana is normal as well. Other than her obsession with Connor. I think she wants her own baby," I say, nudging my older brother.

"Yeah, not now at least," he replies, "for now, all we need is Connor. And in nine months, Charlotte's baby. No more babies for a while after that though."

"You're going to miss your opportunity if you keep waiting. What are you? Forty already?" I giggle, teasing him.

Ashton rolls his eyes but joins in my giggling as well.

And, I know I literally just had one of these messages a few chapter ago, but I actually have a new book out. It's called Vegas. It's a Ross Lynch fanfiction. You guys are probably annoyed with me putting out all kinds of new books but I swear after this one, I will finish a few books before I put any more new ones out. I think.
