It was an ordinary Saturday night. The moon was full and the air was cold and crisp, a perfect for a night for a few violent killings. The street before me  seemed to drag on forever. Only a few street lights lit the vacant street. A few houses lined the street but they didn't seem to interesting. "No I needed something fun for tonight", I thought to myself as the road came to a T.

I took a right and the first house to my left was a nice two story brick/stone house. It seemed to look vacant, but I wanted to try my luck and see if I couldn't stir up some trouble or at least try to.  The house was dark as I walked up closer to it. I smiled at the thought of being drenched in someone else's blood. It was always an exciting and high feeling, but this wasn't an ordinary high. This one was a killer high, literally.

I walked up the small steps to the door, I put my hand on the cold handle and twisted it. The door made a slight click sound and seemed to move with little resistance.  I walked in without making a sound and was amazed at how big the house was. The small corridor opened into a huge living room and kitchen. I went into the kitchen and found the knife set. I took out a descent sized carving knife and I then headed up the stairs.

They were carpeted and made little noise under my weight as I climbed. The stairs ended and led into a hallway that contained three doors that were all open except for one. I walked over to it and turned the knob silently and walked in. My eyes adjusted to the dark and I soon found the room was empty. I turned to leave when I slight sound made me freeze. My heart was pounding but I was armed and ready for a fight. I moved further into the room and found a small closet. I opened the door and hid inside, I left the door slightly cracked so I could could see what was going on in the room.

The door opened and a young teenaged girl walked into the room with a towel wrapped around her hair. The girl turned on a small lamp next to her bed and the room was brought to life. She was a tall, skinny, brunette with a black band shirt on, in my mind she really wasn't bad looking at all. But I wasn't looking for a hot date, I was looking for a  hot kill. It was a descent sized room with big dressers and a few side tables. The white walls were covered in various rock band posters, pictures and drawings. I wished it was my room it was pretty sick.

The girl then climbed in bed then reached for the lamp, and the room returned to its former darkness. I heard the bed rustle then the room fell silent. I got up from my seat of uncomfortable shoes and peaked my head out of the closet. The silence filled my ears but as I approached the bed I knew it would change from silence to a symphony a screams. The thought made me smirk as I came closer and closer with the knife in my clutch.

I stood at the foot of her bed and I could see her figure lying in the bed. I could hear her breathing a soft and subtle sound, almost calming at the same time. I waited for any sounds before I pressed on and nothing stirred. I then walked to the side of the bed she was laying on, but before I made it there a loud creek came from the floor causing me to shift awkwardly. I almost fell on my ass, but I caught myself but not before it was too late, the damage was done.

"Fuck!", I mumbled under my breath out of earshot. This was such a rookie mistake and a mistake I plan to never make again. Slight stirring came from the bed that I was inches from and I didn't know what to do. I wanted to attack but something was stopping me, but before I could act a small voice filled the silence.  "If your going to kill me to night as well do it, I have no money and death sounds better than life at this point". The voice said with no sound of fear what so ever.

It honestly surprised me no one had ever spoke to me with almost no fear since before my accident.  It made my stomach churn and my head began to pound, but the weirdest thing was there were no thoughts. None at all it almost seemed as if they had been sucked from my head.  The silence continued for a few more minuets then a slight noise came from the bed. A dim light pierced the room and I was face to face with her. My heart sank and a cold chill ran down my back and I was truly scared what might happen next.
