Akira's POV
I waved my hand as I watched her get in the car.
"We should talk before the opening ceremony, Aki-chan!" she grinned as the car drove away.
"I'll remember that, Kuro-chan." I smiled back.
This should be interesting. I should tell Jun.
-------A while ago-------
She was bawling her eyes out while I hugged her, her hands around my waist, her head on my chest.
"Aki-chaaaaaan!!"
I kissed the top of her head as I smelled vanilla on her.
"I missed you,Kuro-chan. I have so many questions right now but they can wait. I'm just glad you remembered me."
"I would never ever forget you! How could you say that!" she lifted her head and looked at me in the eyes with a hint of anger.
Her silver orbs still as beautiful as ever. She looks so vulnerable.
"Well, it's been a year, Kuro-chan. Anything can happen." I shrugged.
Yes, it's been a year since she left. Then everything just changed.
This girl is precious to me. She already saved me twice and I am ready put my life on the line for her.
"Mou~ Aki-chan doesn't trust me." she pouted, but at least she stopped crying.
"Still acting like a child I see." I said nonchalantly.
I love her childish attitude towards me. It makes me think that she's related to Jun.
"Hmp..." silence..
"Aki-chan.." she rested her head on my chest again. The scent of vanilla suits her.
"Yes?" I tucked my chin on her head.
"Can I ask you something?" she mumbled.
"Anything.."
"Why?" One more. So many meaning.
"Well...all I can say is I'm glad that your back..You already know what I feel about you. I don't know about the others but I'll support you."
I could feel her heart beating slowly."Tsukasa and Kobayashi betrayed me, Aki-chan." she whispered. I flinched as she used their last names, laced with venom.
"..." I kept my mouth shut 'cause I feel like I'm going to murder someone. I bit my lip. I didn't expect her to find out this early.
ringgg ringg~
She removed her arms around me and looked for her phone.
"Oh crap!" she squealed as she saw the caller. She answered it and held it in her right ear.
"Hello-"
"AKASHI KURUMI!! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? SENZAEMON CALLED! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO MEET HIM 10 MINUTES AGO!!"
She giggled and I sweatdropped at her action being so unpredictable.
"Geez Dad. Chill. Both of you need to chill. I'm going now.teehee"
still giggling.I could hear her dad sigh on the other line, then said something in english.
(A/N: The current setting is in Japan, so normally they are speaking in Japanese. You know what I mean.)
"Hai hai! Bye dad!". She grinned as if she was plotting something.
"Uh-oh. Don't tell me....I know that smile, Kuro-chan." I smiled at her knowingly.
"Neee Aki-chan..Can you give me some of those sticks that-?" She asked me but I cut her out.
"No. Jun forbid it. Specially if it is you who will use it."
The last time she used that 'spice', somebody got hospitalized for a week.
"I'll use it on my new recipe. I'll make Eri-cchi taste it. Why? Do you think I would kill someone?" She tilted her head, grinning.
I stood up and sigh. This girl...is impossible.
"Come on." I helped her off the bed, her clothes are torn in some parts, blood and dirt clung in to them. I decided not to ask.
She must have seen me that's why she looked at her clothes, too.
"Uh, I'll take care of it. Don't worry. ha ha. I really need to go now. The old man's waiting."
"Come on, I'll take you to the greenhouse." I opened the door.
"I'll just wait outside. I need to call Peter. And Aki-chan..thank you" she smiled.
"I'll give you a few, but you have to promise me something. Make something decent with it, okay?" I teased her, she blushed at my words.
"Of course, Aki-chan. Shiomi-cchi will kill me if I let you eat something....strange."
she giggled.---------end of flashback---------
