Warm tears caressed my cheeks.
The wet feeling on my cheeks pulled me back to reality. No, it wasn't mine. Is he crying? No sht sherlock, of course he is. Just before I opened my eyes, I felt his warm and chapped lips on my forehead.
I opened my eyes, dumbfounded. Maybe a little disappointed, but at the same time grateful. Hell I even mentally pleaded.
This bastard...
Before he could do anything else, I regained my control over my body and instinctively dug my fist in his gut, making him groan. I don't even care if he's crying.
"Wha-""What are you playing at nitwit?! Do you want to die?" I hysterically screamed, glaring at the male clutching his stomach.
"What the heck Kurumi! This is the second time! Why are you so brutal? That's not lady-like at all! Ugh." He removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes then put it back. He stood up weakly while holding on to his suitcase for support.
I can't help but to frown at him, my fists still clenched.
"Honestly, you punch like a man.""That's rude, Shinomiya. Don't ever do that again or else I will end you. Come on! Everyone should be on the lobby by now." I snatched his suitcase from his grasp and started walking, still flustered. I gritted my teeth. I even called on his name, dammit.
"Oi! What are you doing?" He called out, quickening his pace.
"I didn't help you out last time so shut up and just walk, Megane. And I have already decided. I'll visit your place after the Autumn elections if I still have time before settling some unfinish business. And maybe I'll bring someone with me on the way." I stated.
"R-really? Hey, you'll keep in touch, right?" He walked beside me.
"Uh, yeah sure."
"..." I'm getting uncomfortable with the silence between us as we walk.
"Shinomiya, if you ever attempt to kiss me again me again, I'll seriously punch the lights out of you. And you should use contacts sometimes...Your glasses irritates me." I shrugged.
He only winced. "I'll make sure remember that." "Thought I have already kissed you once." He smiled.
"What are you smiling about? It's creepy." I frowned at him. He's hiding something and I am sure of it.
"Nothing." Then he glanced at me for a second then sighed.
"Let's have a serious cooking battle some time." I stared at the group of people on the lobby and smiled. It'll be my last battle with you, Shinomiya-senpai.
**************
The lavander-haired man took out his ringing phone and saw the name on the screen, he immediately accepted it knowing it was important.
"Hello. You called a long time, old man.""Ah...Jiro-san, can I ask you a favor?" His voice is wavering. "It's about Kurumi."
So it has come to this huh.
"I'm listening."
Poor kid.
