Chapter 64

"Stop pushing! I can't see!"

"Oh oh oh! Here she comes! She looks pissed..."

"I told you this was a bad idea. If she found out about this farce, I'll make sure to tell her it was your fault."

"Shut up, Terunori. You're in this, too. That makes you my accomplice."

Terunori Kuga gritted his teeth as Kobayashi Rindo continued to push him aside for a clearer view. They are currently hidden near the fountain where Eishi and the girl are talking.

"Watch where you are touching! Hey!" Terunori hissed as he felt Rindou's fingers digging his sides with excitement.

"Just look, will you? This is getting interesting!" Rindou bit her lip trying to stop herself from squealing.

As for Kurumi, her curiousity got worst as she gets nearer. "What if it is a confession? Wait, what if Eishicchi accepts the confession? Who does she think she is to even talk to him? Calm down, Kurumi. Maybe she's just asking for something school related. Breathe in, breathe out."

Eishi and the girl didn't seem to notice Kurumi who is approaching at an alarming pace.
Meanwhile, Rindo fished out her phone and gave Terunori a toothy smile.

"Wait, are you going to record this?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Why not? It's for entertainment purposes. I'm not going to blackmail anyone." She said between giggles while fiddling with her phone.

"Whatever, I'm not responsible for your actions." Kuga muttered but also slowly took his phone out. "It's not what you think. This is purely for blackmailing purposes only." He said defensively while Rindo smirked.

"Eishicchi!" Kurumi called out. The girl flinched while Eishi looked at Kurumi as if he was asking for help. "What's going on here?" She said trying to sound normal but failed to mask her worry.

"Well, you see..." Eishi started to talk when the girl cut him.

"I'm sorry for bothering you, senpai. I have to go." She bowed then rushed off without looking back. Kurumi happened to notice the tears started to stream down the girl's flushed cheeks.

"Ah. There she goes." Eishi sighed in relief as he and Kurumi watched the girl's retreating figure.

"Eishicchi, what just happened?" Kurumi asked, not facing the boy. "...Did she confessed?"

"Well, yes she did..."

"And?"

"I haven't had the chance to answer since you came but I was planning to turn her down." He said smiling at her. "Are you by chance jealous?"

Kurumi scrunch her nose then looked at Tsukasa. "Maybe a little. While I was helping you lessen the workload and at the same time bickering with Eizan-senpai, I happen to catch you being confessed to. How can I leave you for a second now, Mr. Elite?" She said sarcastically, raising her eyebrows.

Tsukasa seemed to be amused and nervous at the same time, then he chuckled. "Be my girlfriend then." He looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"Are you serious? Eishicchi, you are the 1st seat. You do not have enough time to rest much more in a relationship. Me being jealous does not mean that I want to be in a relationship. It's too early, Eishicchi. Let us not forget our goal." Kurumi said.

"Then promise me if you're ready, be mine." Tsukasa said with a serious voice.

"Eishicchi..."
Kurumi's face turned redder as Tsukasa came closer and his lips came in contact with her cheeks.
"W-what are you doing?" She pushed him away but Tsukasa grabbed her arms before she can run.

"Kurumi, promise me." Kurumi saw how serious and sincere Tsukasa is. She look straight into his eyes, silver to silver.

"Alright. Then promise me not to look at other girls. I'm serious."

"Yes." He was about to reach Kurumi's hand when the said girl suddenly looked alert. She started to walk towards where Rindo and Terunori was hiding. On the other hand the two started to push each other away from their hiding spot but only a step too late when they came face to face with a deadly glare.

"Well well well. Who do we have here? Care to explain guys?" She asked trying to control herself  while the two were having problems trying to hide their cellphones behing their backs.
