I've been having a lot of inappropriate thoughts about Shinomiya and Ryo for a while now. I am so ashamed of myself. 😁😄
Can somebody please tell me what Ibusaki's eye color really is? I can't exactly tell... Is it lavander, blue or purple? (Image above)
And have you seen HQ!! S3? I'm pretty hyped.. I couldn't stop fangirling. Haha. 😁😁
****************For the last time, I tried to call father. I told myself that I will personally go and check on him if he will not answer this call. Thankfully, it rang. I almost cried in relief when he picked up after the fifth ring.
"Father!" I said nervously. I couldn't keep still so I stood up and started pacing around the room.
"Oh, Kurumi. What's wrong?" He almost sounded like he's tired.
"What's wrong? Father, I was so worried. I thought something happened to you when you didn't answer any of my calls yesterday! Even Peter! What happened?" I kept myself from getting hysterical or else it'll be ugly.
"Ahh. Calm down. You don't have to worry, Kurumi. I just had an important meeting. I had to cut off all communication so it wouldn't be a bother. As for Peter, I called him back here in America. I'm sorry for not telling you in advance." He said casually... But I sensed something else.
"Oh." I only replied because something is prickling in my mind so I stopped pacing.
"So, you're okay?""Yes, I'm fine Kurumi. Just focus on your work and worry about yourself. You're also doing fine, coming from the director himself. Just always be careful."
"Yes, father. I will. I'm really glad to hear that you're fine." I sighed.
"Okay, dear. I have to go now, okay? I'm currently busy so if you have a problem, don't hesitate to talk to Senzaemon or someone. Be careful, Kurumi. I'm hanging up."
"W-wai-" and with that, he hanged up. I sat on my bed, feeling defeated. Then finally, something clicked.
Then why couldn't I contact Isshicchi? Or Ericchi?
******************"Oh Kurumi-chan...You're late." Isshicchi with his hands on his hips, said to me. His eyes closed while smiling, I want to punch him.
I just stood beside the door, dumbfounded, eyes wide. I was speechless. I thought he was making me work in the garden that's why I purposely came late, in which I instantly regret just by looking at the situation in front of me. I finally understand who is that someone that my father had said a while ago.
"Wha-what's going on here? Jiro-san?" I stuttered."Ruru-chan. Long time no see!" The lavander-haired man grinned while holding a small notebook and a pen.
"Oh, Kurumi! Ohayou. W-wait? Ruru-chan??" Souma exclaimed. He pointed his pen to his father then looked at me with confusion written all over his face. "Oyaji! You know each other?"
"Oh, didn't I already told you about her?" He ruffled Souma's hair, still grinning.
"No, you didn't! How did you know her?" He slapped his father's hand away from his head.
"I did. When you're still a kid, I think."
I don't know what to do or what to say anymore, so I just marched to where Isshicchi is and grabbed his arm and pulled him in the corner with me. I glared at him. "What is this? Why is Jiro-san here?" I asked keeping my voice down.
"Didn't I tell you? It's the surprise that I told you last night. He just arrived yesterday." This guy...I felt my blood boil so I punched him right in the gut leaving him on the floor writhing in pain while I fix myself up. I stared at the chef in front of me, still amazed on how manly he looks. I stopped myself from drooling. I smiled.
"Jiro-san!" I flung myself unto him, hugging him tightly in which he also returned back.
"Wha- wha- what?!!!" Souma who is obviously overwhelmed, exclaimed.
I removed myself from Jiro-san and flicked Souma's forehead. He flinched at the pain and stared at me with scrutinizing eyes. I couldn't help but to say something. I look at Jiro-san for permission and he nods.
"Need-to-know only Souma-kun. I met Jiro-san when I was still a kid. And from what I can remember. I also met you at those times. You possibly can't remember it but I once visited your restaurant before." I fondly smiled at the memory of Souma serving me a bunch of food before, 'tho I can't remember much from that single day.
"Yeah, and now that I think of it. You two were very shy to each other back then." Jiro-san added.
Shy?
"Wait. So you mean we already met when we were kids? I'm confused." He's definitely confused and so am I. I couldn't accept that I was shy. I looked at Jiro-san suspiciously. He made a gesture that only I can understand. I nodded."So what happened here?" I looked around and saw three empty bowls and three empty plates on the table. I raised my eyebrow.
"That's exactly why I told you to come early, Kurumi-chan." Isshicchi said while clutching his pained stomach.
"Eh?"
"Souma-kun and Saiba-san had a cooking battle. I was with Fumio-san and Tadakoro-chan a while ago as judges and-" He was cut off by my pissed off aura.
"Please don't kill me." He squeaked.
I only sighed at him.I was about to ask Jiro-san something when my phone suddenly rang. My eyebrow twiched in annoyance. I had enough of these distractions. I looked at the caller and gave in.
"Please excuse me. Jiro-san. Souma-kun. Isshicchi." I slightly bowed and ran outside to receive the call. How bothersome.
**************"I'm officially giving you back your seat. You have no choice but to accept it, Akashi Kurumi. You will be their pillar. Guide them."
I didn't move from where I stood for a few minutes. I almost crushed my phone in my hand. I need to talk to them, as soon as possible.
