One year ago"Oi Akashi. Don't spoil him too much. He should be the one doing the paperworks, not you. Who are you, the first seat?" Eizan glared at the girl seating in front of him who seems to be busy signing and sorting the documents involving the previous Shokugeki.
"I'm not spoiling Eishicchi, Senpai. I'm just trying to be time and effort efficient." Said the girl without averting her gaze from the papers. "Besides, he's been working nonstop for three days. Give it a break, Senpai. And if we can finish all of these before for the annual meeting, there will be fewer problems for all of us to deal with. I can't afford the first seat to get sick during that period."
"Huh! You're being too nosy with our business again, Akashi. Your job as the eleventh seat is only to voice out your opinions since you were personally invited by the higher ups. You didn't earn any position yet." Kurumi must have sensed Eizan's scowl towards her making her scowl back.
"Senpai, who are you to spout such nonsense? I didn't earn anything yet? Want to test my skills against yours? Keep your mouth shut, megane. I can take your seat anytime I want." Kurumi said with a very annoyed but smug look.
Eizan slammed his hands on the table making the girl flinch just a little bit. He stood up and approached her then grabbed her ribbon, but carefully not to hurt her.
"Watch your mouth, kid. I'm not as understanding as the rest of them. You might as well leave your seat and it will never make any difference because we, The Elite Ten, are capable enough to make any important decisions without your help."Kurumi never made any move, she just stared at him with blank eyes, analyzing every detail about the older male gripping her ribbon. She sighed.
"I refuse to make any remark since this talk is already out of the topic, but I will not apologize because I didn't do or say anything wrong. Besides, you're the one acting like a child, senpai. What makes you think hurting me will change my actions? Like I said, I am only helping to lessen the work load. I don't see anything wrong with that."Eizan just gritted his teeth while Kurumi took notice of the distance between them.
"Let go of me, senpai. We wouldn't want to someone to see us like this, do we? They might get the wrong idea."Eizan let go of Kurumi's ribbon and scoffed.
"Whatever." He went back to his seat and resumed his work and act like nothing happened while Kurumi did the same.Half an hour have passed and Kurumi is starting to feel hungry, making her stop her work and pack her things.
"I'll be going first, senpai. Jaa.""Stupid megane senpai the second." she murmured repeatedly while walking through the hallway but halted when she spotted someone in a distance. "Eishicchi? Wait, who is that girl?" Her brows furrowed as she approached the two with huge and quick steps.
